as a fandom we have so much more power than we realize. with this new era in paid voting we have the capability to make an impact by not participating in funding corruption and scam institutions. our participation matters. if we don’t take part these award shows don’t make money off these apps and maybe that will force them to change and stop taking advantage of fans.

we should be prioritizing the awards shows that don’t have paid voting as well as focusing on the apps that we can collect starts, hearts, tickets, etc. year round in preparation for award show season.

the fact that we even have to deal with this mess is one of the many reasons why i hate the kpop industry so much. yes, capitalism is everywhere but this award show situation is nothing more than a money grab at the expense of fans.
