Hello everyone. My name is Lucio, and I was recently diagnosed with stage 2 HER2-positive breast cancer.
I never thought I’d make a post like this. I genuinely hate asking for money, and it took me days to even decide to share this on here. But things are getting harder and harder financially, and I sadly can’t manage it alone anymore.
Because I live in Germany, after 6 weeks of sick leave you receive “Krankengeld” (sick pay) from health insurance, which is only around 60–70% of your salary. Unfortunately, that simply isn’t enough to cover my rent, bills, groceries, and care for my cats.

I had emergency savings, but they are now gone.

Chemotherapy has been extremely hard on me physically. Most days I’m bedridden, which means I’m currently unable to work or even stream and stay active online like I used to.
