Irrespective of which coalition comes to power, our collective demand for greater transparency and accountability in the electoral process continues. Ultimately, it is accountability to the people which matters in a democracy! ✊🏽✊🏽
This is absolutely amazing for how bills will be passed in Lok Sabha. There's going to be no party with clear majority. All bills will have to be discussed and deliberated on. As they should.
We should also take a moment to bow down to the voters in states like UP. Many (Muslim) voters were literally beaten at the booths where they came to vote - they have literally put their bodies in line to deliver this mandate.
The problem with this (developing) verdict is that it brings back dreams of a proper democracy, and freedom, of living in a country that's not at war with its own people.
All credit to RaGa and the Alliance for refusing to give up when everything seemed loaded against them.
