Being a 48yo woman is fun because you could walk into the emergency room with your arm completely severed and the doctor will look at the bloody stump and tell you it’s probably perimenopause.
The new B.C. Conservative leader, Kerry-Lynne Findlay, is choosing Donald Trump over Canada demanding that Premier Eby put U.S. alcohol back on the shelves. She doesn't have a clue how Canadians feel about Trump.
Trump is so fucking stupid that he doesn't know that in a REPUBLICAN primary, ONLY REPUBLICANS win their elections... because it's a fucking PRIMARY ELECTION.
jfc we're on the dumbest timeline with the dumbest people in charge.
“I’m broken. Completely broken.”
This post from a Long Covid group was written in May.
A healthy 27 y/o mom sickened last December. Almost 5 months later, she can only manage light housework or walking.
She pushed herself harder today for her little kids, took them to the park and for ice cream, then crashed. Bedridden again.
Her doctor has no answers and offers only SSRIs that make her neuropathy worse.
Her husband leaves for work and doesn’t know how to help.
Young mothers with small children are quietly disappearing into this nightmare. Healthy, active women reduced to shells who cannot keep up with their kids, forced to push through crashes with no real medical support.
This is still our reality in 2026. We need real recognition and care for Long Covid, not being forced to push onwards past our limits and dismissal.
Once infected, SARS-CoV-2 remains in your body, replicating and attacking organs/systems.
There are 490k COVID papers

None showing clearance or recovery. No cure. Billions infected. New wave coming.
COVID is LongCOVID, symptomatic or asymptomatic

Absolutely. I’ve lost most of my friends from the before times, not to mention a longtime job. “The Covid Tax” is high for us truth tellers. The world hates canaries.
“An increasing number of people in their 20s and 30s are being diagnosed with early-onset bowel cancer, which experts say could be an entirely new disease.”
entirely new disease?! Oh you mean like that novel oncogenic virus you let rip for the last 7 yrs

This woman is filming her documentary about her dad dying suddenly from sepsis and her mom being diagnosed with stage 3c ovarian cancer just 3 months later.
She has no idea it’s Covid.
Most people don’t.
Covid tests have a high false negative rate, so when families get sick they test “negative” and move on, never connecting the dots.
The news stays silent. Social media serves endless happy distractions.
Meanwhile, sudden sepsis deaths, aggressive cancers, and mystery illnesses keep hitting families out of nowhere.
We are not in a post Covid world. We are in one where Covid is still quietly devastating lives, and hardly anyone is aware. Only this small community on X is aware. That is why I’m here. You people are the only ones left in the world who are aware Covid still exists. How would they know?
This is why we keep sharing. The silence is killing us softly.

Her daughter, Haven, had her foot amputated after she was dx w/synovial sarcoma
“These are our children, these are our babies...if we can do better, we need to do better”
Yes, you should do better--Covid is harming your children

Hello @ElonMusk. This is how you are perceived. Not too late to course correct but it’s getting pretty late. You certainly have the extra money on hand to really help the people of the world instead of the hellbent road of chaos and destruction you are ludicrously barreling down. Put down the Ket straw. 🤪
The police in the U.K. last night were not able to keep up with the 999 calls after women were battered by their drunk boyfriends and husbands. Children too. Because England lost a football game.
You fucking weak ass fragile pieces of shit. You over emotional child men cnuts.
Nothing screams “it’s not Covid” quite like blaming a week long “head cold” and worsening cough on last week’s jalapeño poppers.
Capsaicin did it? Bold take.
Next thing you know my Long Covid is from eating too much kale.
Pass the tissues and the reality check, spicy deniers! 😂🌶️🤧

"As many as 50% of [COVID-19] patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 develop post-acute sequalae of SARS-CoV-2 (PASC or Long COVID) within a few months after the initial infection..
Long COVID is characterized by persistent fatigue, which is independent of the initial severity of the infection..
Long-COVID patients suffer from a spectrum of neurological disorders including headache, anosmia, encephalopathy, peripheral neuropathy, and cerebrovascular events;
neurodegenerative changes resembling early Alzheimer's and Parkinson's pathology;
psychiatric disorders including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and sleep disturbances; and
cognitive impairment encompassing brain fog, memory deficits, executive dysfunction, and peripheral neuropathy.
These manifestations arise through multiple mechanisms including direct Spike-protein-driven neuroinflammation, microglial and MC activation, Blood Brain Barrier (BBB) disruption, HPA-axis dysregulation, hypoxia, and immune-mediated injury..
The epidemiological data showing that Omicron variants, despite lower overall Long-COVID prevalence, are disproportionately associated with neurological symptoms including brain fog, is consistent with the neuroimmune mechanisms described here..
SARS-CoV-2 may have direct effects via its S1 protein stimulating of release of pro-inflammatory and vasoactive mediators from MC and microglia that express ACE2..
Indirect evidence of the presence of the S1 protein within the CNS is the detection of anti-S1 protein antibodies in the CSF of two children who died with COVID-19 infection and had subacute neuropsychiatric symptoms..
S1 protein could disrupt the barrier function in an in-vitro model of the BBB and that the S1 protein can actually cross the BBB and enter the brain in mice.."
We cannot realize brain dysfunction because of brain dysfunction.

The disconnect of seeing the wistful “the world has changed so much since Covid ended” posts along with those about increased chronic illness, disability and death in people of all ages. Turns out you can’t nostalgize covid and its serious effects away during an ongoing pandemic.
I had strep almost every year as a kid. Doctors refused to remove tonsils. They took them out finally at 27 and I never had it again. Now doctors here don't even rx antibiotics for it. The joint and muscle issues I have I directly link to those infections.
