Today, the second part of our investigation looks at the concern Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi flagged most often: Who really controls our electoral rolls?

We followed that question to Goa, where we found something deeply concerning.

If crimes could be ranked, this is among the worst possible. How coldly calculative and cruel one must be to do this? This is not a crime of passion or rage or whipped up hatred or even entrenched patriarchy. This is purely a crime of inhumanity.

The visuals of people surrounding and heckling Abhijeet Dipke aren't surprising, but surely revealing.

He went to meet families of Adivasi children who tragically died.

But Dipke was accused of "doing politics over the dead".

The logic is sinister and insensitive.

You are basically saying that tribal children can die in anonymity, and an activist highlighting their terrible conditions is the problem.

25-year-old Prashant Kumar Singh, an artist who participated in the students’ protest on 20th July, has undergone multiple surgeries to remove pellets from his body. Even after that, doctors say that some pellets cannot be removed and have now become a permanent part of his body.

He has been left with lifelong injuries because of Home Minister @AmitShah’s order, and now Amit Shah is hiding from Parliament. How long will he keep hiding and escape accountability? He must answer in Parliament.

At 10 pm, six police officers raided his house.
Arrested him with unknown charges.
Out of lakhs of protesters, police found only Aslam to punish.
