Spot on. Academic success should never come at the expense of a child's faith, yet this dilemma is entirely structural.
We cannot completely blame parents when the reality is that many Islamic universities in Nigeria currently struggle to match the infrastructure, funding, and global prestige of their Christian counterparts. To protect our youth's identity, we must fix the root causes.
1. Brilliant Muslim academics and professionals often prefer corporate experience or established institutions over Islamic universities due to poor remuneration and research funding.
2. Wealthy Muslims readily build local mosques, but we drastically underfund institutional endowments, cutting-edge laboratories, and competitive faculty salaries.
3. Some institutions confuse strict, rigid policing with genuine spiritual nurturing. We need environments that intellectually defend Islam against modern doubts, not just enforce rules.
What is the Way Forward:
1. Elite Muslim scholars and top-tier lecturers must see teaching at Islamic universities as a form of Sadaqah Jariyah.
2. We must pivot wealthy philanthropy from building third and fourth mosques in the same neighborhood toward funding world-class university chairs and tech hubs.
3. Build vibrant and intellectually stimulating campus cultures that make practicing Islam look sophisticated, modern, and intellectually superior.
4. Islamic universities must actively secure affiliate partnerships with top-tier and globally recognized Islamic institutions and Western tech hubs. This instantly elevates their curriculum, offers double-degree programs, and provides the prestige that ambitious parents and students crave.
We must build environments where our children don't have to choose between solid academic degrees and their faith. Guidance is from Allah, but the infrastructure is on us.
Your code doesn't just need a health score anymore. It needs a bouncer. Iris 1.0.0 ships with Git hooks and build hooks that block bad code before it is pushed or built.

If you’ve built dashboards or internal tools before, you know how much time gets wasted on setup.
This is meant to cut that down.
