"Construction of Train 7 is ongoing, with about 16,000 people working on the project. When Train 7 comes on stream, it is expected to add about 50% to NLNG’s cooking gas capacity."

PROTECTING FOOTBALL, RESTORING NATIONAL PRIDE
Football occupies a special place in our national life. It brings Nigerians together across generations and communities, and our country has never lacked talent, passion or support for the game.
Yet, our results have too often fallen short of what Nigeria should expect.
I have therefore directed a comprehensive reform of Nigerian football following our repeated failures to qualify for major regional, continental and world tournaments.
The problems are structural, and our response must address them.
STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE
PRESIDENT TINUBU DIRECTS COMPREHENSIVE FOOTBALL REFORM
President Bola Tinubu @officialABAT
has directed a comprehensive reform of Nigerian football to overcome repeated failures to qualify for major regional, continental and world tournaments.
“The reform must respond to a longstanding need to strengthen governance, administration, stakeholder representation, development pathways, domestic competitions and accountability across Nigerian football,” he said.
The President noted that while other sports had recorded meaningful progress since the reset of the sports sector under the re-established National Sports Commission, football has continued to struggle because of structural weaknesses within the system.
“Football, Nigeria’s most popular sport and the greatest beneficiary of public support, investment and national attention, has continued to struggle basically due to structural deficits within the system,” Tinubu said.
He stressed that Nigerian football must begin to match the country’s exceptional talent, passion and resources with stronger institutions and sustained performance.
President Tinubu directed the Chairman of the National Sports Commission to work with the NFF Secretariat and relevant football stakeholders to ensure continuity in essential football administration and facilitate a broad, consultative reform process.
The process will include appropriate engagement with FIFA and CAF while safeguarding Nigeria’s obligations within the international football framework.
The President called on football stakeholders and Nigerians to support the transition and work together to build a stronger, more accountable and successful football system.

It is time we focus on these Governors!
It is nightime!
They are receiving billions and yet nothing much to show for it!
We need to focus more on them!
They are just enjoying the money while the president is taking the heat!
Enough of this madness!!!!
@Mario9jaa@atiku@officialABAT You can tell me you want to overturn NELFUND, NNPC unbundling, naira unification & returns d economy stability to INSTABILITY
NO INFRASTRUCTURE
STOP ABUJA PROJECTS etc
ABAH! ATIKU 😳😱😡
I NOW BELIEVE OBJ!🤣🤣🤣
@Mario9jaa I laughed when I saw the interview🤣🤣🤣
I then pity @atiku desperation loophole unknown to himself, he just alluded that NOTHING IS WRONG with Pres @officialABAT policies!
Going everywhere means u r going nowhere
ATIKU JUST WANTS POWER BUT HAS NOTHING TO OFFER
NO IDEOLOGY 😡
@FOLVSHO@tunde_odus@atiku believes 9ja can be easily manipulated wt populate ideas!
Apart from d unreasonable re-introduction of subsidy, even if his ideas r germane, he cannot be trusted as claimed by his boss
He’s 2 desperate 4 President, tt he almost ousted OBJ in d 1st yr😳
He shd wait-2031
I received up to 5 calls from different people yesterday telling me about how Atiku’s subsidy narrative is working and how it has brought him back into the game.
Time will tell whether they are right but those who will win the narrative will come out at the right time;
- Working state governors who are now able to do more for their people.
- Civil servants who now get their salaries and emoluments at the right time.
- Business community who now has a stable environment.
- Students who now get their school fees paid alongside monthly stipends.
- Professionals who know the consequences of any reversal at this point in time.
It is a debate that will be lost naturally during the course of the campaign and it is only a matter of time.
We will be there!!!
Great analysis by these two guests who are obviously angry with the idea from the get go.

One of the reasons why I sometimes find it difficult to stay away from Peter Obi's matter is because I don't like people overestimating their abilities and worse still I hate it when someone tries to emotionally blackmail me for not supporting Obi and making it seem as if he was one revolutionary Governor the likes of whom we've never seen before.
This is a man I experienced his governance and I will continue to say it, Obi was just an average governor who believed in minimalist governance with very poor accountability (I come to that another day).
I know Anambra State like the palm of my hands. So, when people try to whitewash what I personally experienced I take it personal. There is a reason you'll hardly see anyone from Anambra countering anything I say about Obi and his time in office, because I don't say what I cannot back with facts.
In my books, Dr. Chris Ngige, despite spending barely 3 years in office was a far better performer to me than Obi and for many reasons.
By the way, when Obi tells you that he fought godfatherism, I ask myself, what then did Ngige fight? Was it not Ngige former Godfathers that helped Obi win at the Tribunal and then at Appeal Court in 2006. That's a topic for another day too.
Let me stay on health for today.
If you watch this Ngige interview which he granted to Seun Okinbaloye ahead of the 2013 governorship election in Anambra, you'll see that after 8 years, Peter Obi's administration did very little in the health sector. Doctors apart from not being paid the agreed salary structure, the number of health personnel in the employment of government hospitals was grossly inadequate. Many PHCs were in deplorable state while Obi was busy saving money in Fidelity bank and buying shares for Anambra. You cannot see up to 5 general hospitals that Obi equipped especially outside of the cities, meanwhile we were supposed to have general hospitals in the 21 LGAs. Building nursing schools is meaningless if your health system is wack with no personnel recruitment and poor access to healthcare services across the 179 communities in Anambra State.
Peter Obi doesn't like increasing workers salaries or even paying national minimum wage without a fight (maybe he sees it as waste of funds), he instead prefers giving cheques to mission hospitals. This is the same man that will come today and be talking about human development index or talking about living wage. And those who didn't experience his governance will think he's Franklin D Roosevelt. I don't have short memory.
Anyway, the campaigns have just begun. It's time for truth telling.
@osazenoo I disagree
