Bengal has a rich Bahurupi tradition, one of the oldest forms of folk art, where artists assume many forms, many faces, many identities. Today, we are witnessing a very different kind of Bahurupi. These Bahurupis watched in silence as the people of Bengal suffered and lost their lives during SIR. And now, they have arrived for a 15-day visit, wearing the mask of concern.
Their forms are many. At times they appear as BJP, misusing democratic institutions to disenfranchise our people and engineer demographic change. At times as CPI(M) and Congress, splitting votes to hand electoral advantage to Bangla-birodhi forces. And at times as ISF and AIMIM, provoking unrest to destabilise Bengal on the eve of elections. A thousand faces. One agenda. The destruction of Bengal.
But Bengal is wide awake, and Bengal will reject every single one of them. Since 2016, the people of Taldangra have stood with conviction behind Maa-Mati-Manush. The reception I received today at the janasabha in support of our candidate Shri Falguni Singhababu has put it beyond any doubt. Trinamool Congress will win. Taldangra will ensure it.

Narendra Modi and Amit Shah have become daily passengers to Bengal because elections are around the corner. But when North Bengal drowns in misery every year due to floods and natural calamities, both engines of their âDouble Engineâ sarkar fail completely. What have the people of North Bengal actually received from the BJP? Nothing. Zero. Nada. Zilch.
Not a single long-term measure to tackle the recurring flood crisis. The âš1,000 crore package announced in 2021 was never released. No meaningful steps were taken to unlock the immense tourism potential of the region. Instead, what this âDabba Engineâ has delivered is only exploitation, humiliation, and torment. Withholding PF dues of tea garden workers. Serving NRC notices to our Rajbanshi brothers and sisters. Conspiring to divide North Bengal. Gunning down innocent people in Sitalkuchi
They have left behind a trail of misery, death, and destruction. And now, through the double blow of fraudulent SIR and thousands of fake Form 6 applications, they are trying to snatch away even your voting rights and hand them over to outsiders from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. But the people have had enough. If even one-third of the massive crowds that gathered at our janasabhas in Sitalkuchi, Rajganj, and Falakata in support of our candidates, Harihar Das, Swapna Barman, and Subhash Chandra Roy, stand in line and press the Joraphool button on 23rd April,

63 lakh names DELETED.
60 lakh voters UNDER ADJUDICATION.
Nearly 200 LIVES LOST.
An unprecedented industrial-scale assault on Bengal's electoral rolls, executed over months with the full machinery of a captured @ECISVEEP, at an unimaginable human cost. And even after all of that, BJP still could not tilt the scales in their favour.
Within hours of the Model Code of Conduct coming into effect, ECI has removed the Chief Secretary and the Principal Secretary of the Government of West Bengal. If this does not establish, beyond any remaining shadow of doubt, the full extent of collusion between BJP and Election Commission, then nothing will.
Vanish Kumar came to Bengal and vanished 63 lakh voters. Having failed to vanish enough of them, he is now vanishing government officials instead. The mission is the same. The master is the same. Only the target has changed.
I condemn, in the strongest possible terms, the dastardly, cowardly and utterly reprehensible attack on our Hon'ble Minister Smt. Shashi Panja. Her home was vandalised and ransacked. Our party workers and supporters were mercilessly beaten. And she herself was physically assaulted, with stones and bricks hurled at her, leaving her injured.
A serving Cabinet Minister was attacked in broad daylight by BJP goons emboldened by their Prime Minister's presence in the city. This is not an attack on one woman. This is an attack on every woman of Bengal. Bengal has seen this before. In 2019, from Amit Shah's rally, the bust of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar was vandalised and desecrated.
This is BJPâs culture. These BOHIRAGOTO BJP ZAMINDARS want to import their politics of PROVOCATION to Bengal. They want to destroy peace. They want to spread fear. This will neither be forgiven, nor be forgotten.
Bengal will not tolerate BJPâs SAFFRON GUNDAGARDI.
I am happy to announce that our Ma-Mati-Manush government has delivered on its promise to all its employees and pensioners, and to lakhs of teachers and non-teaching staff of our educational institutions, as well as employees/ pensioners of our other grant-in-aid instititions like panchayats, municipal bodies, other local bodies etc.
They will start receiving their ROPA 2009 DA arrears from March 2026 onwards as per the modalities detailed out in the Notifications issued by our Finance Department.
I am pleased to announce an increase of âš500 in the monthly honorariums extended to our purohits and muezzins, whose service sustains the spiritual and social life of our communities. With this revision, they will now receive âš2,000 per month.
At the same time, all fresh applications that have been duly submitted by purohits and muezzins have also been approved by the State Government.
We take pride in nurturing an environment where every community and every tradition is valued and strengthened. Our endeavour remains to ensure that the custodians of our rich spiritual heritage receive the recognition and support they deserve.
I am pleased to announce that our government intends to constitute soon five new Cultural and Development Boards for the Munda (ST), Kora (ST), Dom (SC), Kumbhakar (OBC) and Sadgope (OBC) communities.
These communities are integral to the vibrant fabric of Bengal. My heartiest congratulations to all of them.
These boards will protect their unique languages and traditions while ensuring better education, healthcare, and jobs. They will safeguard customary rights and bring further socio-economic growth.
â
âSince 2013, we have established many such boards for our weaker communities, ensuring their all-round development.
â
âOur commitment to Ma, Mati, Manush means, we remain dedicated to ensuring no community is left behind. Our goal is simple: to bring a smile to every face through inclusive progress and unwavering support.
Jai Bangla!
Dol and Holi arrive each year with colour in their hands and a timeless lesson in their heart. When colour touches us, it does not pause to ask our name, caste, language or faith, it simply embraces all.
A society truly becomes vibrant when every shade is allowed to exist with equal respect and dignity. The spirit of Dol Yatra and Holi reminds us that unity is our greatest strength and harmony our shared responsibility.
May this festival renew our faith in togetherness, fairness and the belief that every citizen deserves equal space under the same sky.
Wishing everyone a colourful Dol and a very Happy Holi.
Two young lives from Nandigram are beginning a journey toward healing, and I am glad that we could play a small role in making that possible.
During our Sebaashray camp in Nandigram, we learned about two young girls, Suparna Jana and Arpita Dalui, both suffering from complex heart conditions. Their families had been carrying the weight of this struggle, living with the uncertainty that accompanies such serious medical challenges.
The moment their situation came to our attention, arrangements were made to send them to AIIMS, New Delhi, where they can receive the specialised treatment they require. Within our limited capacity, we have ensured that every aspect of their treatment is being taken care of, because no childâs chance at life and health should ever be constrained by economic hardship.
May they return home soon with renewed strength and bright smiles. In the end, the true measure of any society is how gently it cares for those who are most vulnerable.
In 2021, Bengal roared with the call of âNO VOTE TO BJP.â Today, from the dharna mancha at Dharmatala, a fiercer thunder has risen. âBOYCOTT BJP.â Boycott them SOCIALLY, POLITICALLY, and DEMOCRATICALLY for insulting Bengalâs icons, withholding Bengalâs rightful funds, persecuting Bengalâs people, threatening to control Bengalâs ways of life, and above all, conspiring to delete Bengalâs legitimate voters, the most heinous CRIME AGAINST DEMOCRACY since 1947.
They have already claimed 172 precious lives in their greed and lust for power. And for every drop of blood they have spilled, Bengal will ensure their political existence is erased so thoroughly that they wonât even muster 172 booths in the coming days. These Delhi Zamindars have forgotten that the first Chief Election Commissioner of India was a Bengali. So, these Bangla-Birodhi forces misuse that very constitutional body as a weapon against Bengal and its people.
They will pay dearly. Todayâs dharna is the beginning of the end for BJP in Bengal. We will not forget. We will not forgive. We will not rest until every vote-deleting, life-crushing, icon-insulting zamindar is sent packing in an Ulta Rath back to Delhi.
Today, on International Womenâs Day, I reflect on the strength, dignity and resilience of women who shape our lives. In Bengal, respect for women is not symbolic, it is woven into our culture. We worship Maa Durga as our daughter and call this land Bangla Ma.
For fifteen years, Bengal has been led by a woman whose courage and conviction have shown the country what determined leadership looks like. Under Smt. Mamata Banerjee, womenâs empowerment has meant real support, opportunity and dignity for millions.
The true strength of Bengal lies in its women, whose courage and achievements inspire us to build a stronger, more just and equal society.
PEOPLE of WEST BENGAL
VS
BJP + ECI + ED + IT + CBI + NIA + CAPF + Governor + 20 Union Ministers + 10 CMs + Prime Minister + Respected Rashtrapati Ji + Godi Media.
When the entire establishment lines up against Bengal, Bengal stands stronger.
Bring it on!

The farce of @BJP4India and @ECISVEEP's Silent Invisible Rigging reaches new lows of absurdity.
A World Cup-winning star like Richa Ghosh, Bengal's pride, India's hero, the wicketkeeper-batter who donned the blue jersey and brought glory to the nation, has now been placed âunder adjudicationâ in the final electoral rolls.
She, who has represented India overseas with distinction and earned every Bengali's admiration is forced to endure this humiliating scrutiny, her name flagged, her voter status questioned, her democratic right dangling by a thread in this voter purge.
When even celebrities and national icons can be arbitrarily targeted, questioned, and subjected to this degrading process, what hope for the common Bengali voter? This is systematic humiliation engineered to disenfranchise, to silence, to erase Bengal's voice one name at a time.
63,66,952. That is the staggering number of voters deleted under @BJP4India and @ECISVEEPâs SILENT INVISIBLE RIGGING. Add to that 60,06,675 cases still pending adjudication, and todayâs publication of the final electoral roll delivers the final, brutal blow in a long-orchestrated conspiracy to disenfranchise Bengalâs voters.
What began on October 27, 2025, was never about âclean rolls.â It was a cruel, heartless, premeditated plot to snatch Bengalâs democratic voice. Over 150 precious lives have been lost. 1.36 crore citizens were branded with âlogical discrepanciesâ and forced into degrading trials like common criminals.
Due process was shredded. Goalposts shifted overnight. Micro-observers parachuted in to enforce deletions. Restrictions on Form 7 lifted to flood the system with bogus objections. Voters deleted from the backend without notice. Living, breathing people marked âdeadâ and erased. This was BJPâs deletion quota fulfilled with ruthless precision.
But Bengal has stood tall. Smt. @MamataOfficial challenged this conspiracy tooth and nail, on the streets and in the courts. We did not take a knee. The Bangla-Birodhi Zamindars of Delhi thought they could erase our voice. The people have seen the blood on their hands. And in 2026, Bengal will deliver a total, crushing, unforgiving verdict by rejecting every architect of this DEMOCRATIC MURDER.
