Valid correction. Pohlad absolutely sabotaged the franchise for a check because he couldn't get his stadium funding. Still, the fact that MLB's solution to competitive balance was a billionaire cash-out rather than a real salary cap is exactly the problem! Pohlad was set to cash out 250 million❗️
