@tmukogo Pick n Pay get's it.
Look here's a simple test.
If you claim to be mass market, but your primary customer base is civil servants, then you are doomed.
Edgars, I'm looking at you too.
Cash iri muvanhu!
Bend over backwards to tora mari yavo, and you'll thrive.
@tmukogo In Bulawayo, R20 is $1.
R1 is $0.10
Saka if you don't take rands, especially coins, you add to the transaction friction, and people just don't come to your store. Because they don't want to deal with that nonsense.
@tmukogo Even large firms like Proton & Bakers Inn embraced the new reality, and now have their trucks deliver bread to unlicensed tuckshops in the suburbs.
That's how you survive. Embrace the new reality, and don't think you are big enough to change the market reality on your own!
@tmukogo I've been meaning to write about the downfall of OK.
This one is on them! They have failed or refused to adjust to the prevailing market conditions.
Case in point. OK in Bulawayo does not accept Rand coins! At all!
How do you give change without Rand coins? Yellow pencils!

I joined Twitter/X 15 years ago.
How old do you think I was then, that you find it necessary for me to give you my birthday for you verify that I am indeed old enough to keep playing here.
Total UX fail.
We have built more ponds for our Vermiculture. 200 tonnes capacity added. This is part of our plan to go 100% organic and say good bye to synthetic fertiliser. In 2025 you will have organic produce in shops near you. Many farmers are just spraying and feeding us too many chemicals. This is the direction we have decided to take. All our ponds now produce 650tonnes of Vermicompost. Our goal is 100 tonnes a month. We keep trying.
If really shit & terrible customer service had a face, it would look like this!
1st in-branch interaction:: August
1st online interaction:: early Sept
last online interaction:: last week.
And my issue remains unresolved!!

Dear BCC
How are residents supposed to play their part when our bins in the CBD are like this? This one (Cnr JMN Nkomo & 14th) has been overflowing since last week.
You should lead by example, & fine yourself $30 every day for every bin like this.
@DavidColtart@CityofBulawayo
Dear BCC
Please explain the legal statute that allows council staff to unilaterally confiscate private property (signage), belonging to businesses, without even notifying them.
Even if said signage violates some law on blocking pavements.
@NedbankNam Jeeez
But you can't really!! Because you do not have my email address. The one you are spamming me on.
And I don't want to post it here. I don't want to follow you!
At least give me an email address I can forward one of the emails you send me.
@NedbankNam
Please remove my email address from your system.
I keep getting emails for some other Tapiwa, along with the attached financial documents.
Maybe I should start posting those documents here to get you to actually take action.
@NedbankNam Are you guys for real?
I cannot DM you because I do not follow you!
And NO!!! I don't want to follow you.
Same way I cannot reply to the [email protected] email address that you are using to annoy me in my emails.
Please fix this.
@BancabcZW I'm trying to close my Prepaid Visa Account.
I completed the form on Saturday, but apparently, there are issues because my card still has a balance.
How does one close that account, and what happens to my outstanding balance?
@BancabcZW
What on earth is going on?
Your Bulawayo branch (Jason Moyo), seems to have taken atrocious service to the next level.
I was in your branch on Saturday. And again yesterday. But nobody seems to be able to help me.
Maybe you can help.
