My current solution is Roon and Linux. I set up an old Dell PC running Ubuntu server 24.04.x LTS and a Roon server, and Raspberry PI 4 running Ubuntu 24.04.x and Roon Bridge. Avoiding broken macOS USB audio system completely 🙂
