@RajSampark 1 month. 10 PHED offices. JDA. Then back to PHED. My Raj Sampark complaint has travelled more than I have. The problem? Untouched. Yet this is called “grievance redressal.” What a pathetic joke.

There shld be a restricted quota fr young travellers during Char Dham Yatra.
Youngsters usually hv more flexibility and cn pln the journey later as well, bt fr many snior citizens, dis pilgrimage is a once-in-a-lifetime spiritual wish.

Until now, the minimum qualifying criterion for PG medical seats for SC, ST, and OBC candidates was the 40th percentile, about 235 marks out of 800.
As per an order of the Ministry of Health, this has been reduced to the 0th percentile, meaning even a score of –40 out of 800 is now eligible, subject to seat availability.
The one profession that directly deals with life and death, where competence should be sacred and non-negotiable,has been dragged down to this level. Perhaps this is the only country in the world where such a dangerous dilution of standards is not just tolerated, but actively encouraged.
An example of how serious our country's gatekeepers are about health.
WHO's ORS is a fixed-ratio combination of glucose and electrolytes that's scientifically proven and has saved millions of children's lives from diarrhoea.
Then came the businesses, selling energy or fruit based drinks with similar names like ORSL, Smart ORS, Hydra ORS. These formulas neither had the approved glucose-electrolyte ratio nor any efficacy in treating diarrhoea; in fact, they could worsen it in kids. These products were duly approved by the FSSAI.
Misleading ORS were conveniently stocked right next to genuine ORS sachets in stores, and many unsuspecting parents ended up buying the wrong one.
A group of doctors, led by a pediatrician, raised this issue for 8 years to get fake ORS drinks to stop using ORS in their names. Finally, after almost a decade, FSSAI passed the order to ban such misleading labelling on Oct 14th.
Next, a pharma giant went to the Delhi High Court and got the order stayed to dispose of its current stock on Oct 17th. FSSAI did not oppose their demand or reaffirm the ban in court, nor did they challenge the stay order in the Supreme Court till now. Why? My guess is as good as yours.
“Every country has potholes”, that’s the new defence nowadays whenever India’s road mess is called out.
Illogical. Saying “every country has crime” doesn’t equalize Sweden and El Salvador or Venezuela. Yes every country has potholes but the difference is scale and accountability.
In West, you might spot one stray pothole in 100 km of road. You cannot use that to justify Indian roads where potholes are so dense, especially in cities, that you struggle to find actual road between them. Exceptions (potholes in west) can't be used to defend a rule (potholes in India).
Second is accountability. In the West, a pothole is fixed quickly and scientifically. In India, it stays for months or years, and when they finally "repair" it, they just throw in some concrete and tar. No standards, no technology.
If someone gets hurt in the West due to a pothole, they can sue authorities and win millions. In India, thousands die every year because of potholes, and their families get nothing, not even acknowledgment.
So please, stop defending the indefensible. And remember: potholes don’t check ideology before killing. One day, God forbid, it could be your own family paying the price.
My office in Kanakpura Industrial Area, Jaipur, has had terrible roads for two years. A vehicle can't drive a stretch without hitting potholes.
Last yr, an African client even said the condition of roads are worse than in African countries.
@RajCMO@Ra_THORe
I had an overseas business visitor to Biocon Park who said ‘ Why are the roads so bad and why is there so much garbage around? Doesn’t the Govt want to support investment? I have just come from China and cant understand why India can’t get its act together especially when the winds are favourable?’ @siddaramaiah@DKShivakumar@PriyankKharge
Modi is not perfect, but he is far ahead of his predecessors and, in my view, the best prime minister India has had.
Most criticism of him is not about failures but about the expectations we place on him, shaped by what we see in developed nations, and that is fair. But India cannot transform into a superpower overnight, constrained by its vast population, democratic checks and balances, and the historic backlog of poverty and underdevelopment it inherited. Unlike China’s top-down model, every reform here must navigate states, coalitions, and social complexities.
Taxpayers’ aspirations in India are particularly high because they contribute more and get little, but it’s also a reality that democracy itself acts as a handicap. Elections are rarely won on vision or development; they are won on caste loyalties and freebies that appeal to the masses who care little about infrastructure, education, development, environment, or progress. Any govt, no matter how capable, is forced to dilute long-term reforms in order to survive short-term populism.
On top of that, real transformation requires decades of consistent effort in economic modernization, R&D, defense capacity, and global positioning, all of which no leader, not even Modi, can compress into a few years. What he can do, and is doing, is laying the groundwork for a stronger, more self-reliant India of the future.
Criticism must continue, it pushes things in a positive direction. But credit should also be given where it’s due. Happy birthday, Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi. May you continue to lead the nation for many more years.
No headline will cover them, No Media will run their picture but you need to know them.
This is the Indian Men's Relay Team.
Rajesh Ramesh, Ajmal, Amoj Jacob and Anas Yahiya created history today for India by qualifying for the World Athletics C'ships final of the 4x400m relay.
They will run their final in just a few hours, they need more recognition than cricketers.
They are our true sporting icons ♥️
@ICAICMA This is happening in mock test.

A flippant advert of a TV serial, ‘profaning’ a ‘sacred’ art form.
The ‘Yellow & bold headlines’ asks the viewers “ would you accept a ‘dancer’ as your daughter in law ?
Dance as a gracious art form needs to be celebrated rather than de"moralized"
This is plain ‘REGRESSIVE’
