DAMON PLAYING ALONE GOT ME IN MY FEELS…😢😢😢😢😢😢
💔💔💔UNSEEN, LONELEY & UNWANTED IN BLAIR, GA💔💔💔
I would be lying if I said he’s been waiting for a family for 4 years…
Because the truth is,
I think he stopped waiting years ago.
He learned that no one stays.
That everything ends the same,
Always.
But if there’s one thing that is making me lose sleep every night since I met him,
It’s not just that he has spent the last 4 years of his life alone,
Its that when it was time to leave,
I realized that he knew I was there the whole time,
But he decided sometimes it’s not always better to have loved and lost,
Than to have never known love at all.
Damon is just 5 years old but has spent 4 years in the shelter. He has been dog friendly, he’s playful and loyal with the volunteers he knows are coming back.
Im convinced if someone would take the chance, they’ll realize their soul dog has been waiting for them this whole time.

Pima County has caged a family dog for eight months over one bite on their own property.
Sergeant Snuggles is an Anatolian Shepherd. Guardian breed. Built to protect land and livestock from coyotes and whatever else shows up. He was doing his job on their three-acre place. Young pup got stressed and startled when grandma tapped him from behind. Nipped once. They called it a level four bite. Grandma is fine. She has said from the start it was her fault for spooking him. She wants her dog home with the kids. She begs for it.
The family offered training. Extra fencing. Whatever rules they asked for. Hired a behaviorist who said he is not dangerous. Livestock experts backed the same thing. Pima County animal control and the courts did not give a damn. They slapped the vicious label on him and locked him down. No real visits. Isolation. Fees stacking past fifteen grand while the kids miss their dog every single day.
They fought it in court and got steamrolled at first. New lawyer came on after people online pushed hard. Appeal is filed. Waiting on the prosecutor’s response then the judge decides on paper. They are even asking advocacy groups for amicus briefs. The fight is still alive.
This is government overreach plain and simple. Bureaucrats hiding behind rules and codes so they can play God with a loyal dog and break a family’s heart. One startled mistake on private land and they want to kill him while the actual victim pleads for mercy. Cowards. The whole system stinks when it treats a family pet like public enemy number one.
#SaveSnuggles belongs back home. Running that land with his people instead of rotting in a kennel.
Sign the petition. Call and email these officials respectfully. Demand they release this dog to his family.

Shelter security tootage from kennel 7, captured at 3:47 AM. His name is Teddy.
He's 8 weeks old. He was found in a cardboard box on the side of the highway with his siblings - he was the only one who survived.
When he arrived at the shelter, he wouldn't stop crying for his mother. A volunteer gave him an old donated teddy bear. He hasn't let go of it since.
Every night, the camera catches him doing the same thing - checking she's still there, nuzzling into her chest, licking her face. He thinks the bear is his mother.
Nobody has the heart to tell him otherwise.
If Teddy moved you, please share him.
Somewhere out there is the family he's bern waiting for…
Researchers thought the most dangerous thing in the Arctic was the polar bear until they watched a mother drag her dead cub from the water and mourn beside her for hours. The bear, known to researchers as Nukka, had spent four years raising and protecting her daughter, Sila, before witnesses say the young bear was found lifeless in the freezing water and pulled back to shore by her mother.
For hours, Nukka stayed beside her, nudging her gently and refusing to leave the cub she had cared for since birth. Officials now believe Sila may have been illegally hunted, turning an already brutal year in the wild into something even harder to stomach. Because in that moment, researchers said the scariest thing in the Arctic wasn’t the polar bear fighting to survive. It was the humans who broke the love and peace that was already there.
This is absolutely unacceptable! A service dog in a kill shelter is sickening.
If anyone knows a veteran that needs a service dog this is a chance to get a great companion. This dog should not spend another day in a kill shelter.
Repost this everywhere and get her a veteran!
Lucy's court date is June 12th.
Please call and email the prosecutor to tell them to release Lucy and let her go home to her family instead of killing her.
SAVE LUCY! Save this picture. It has all the info you need.
Every day you are stuck in that tiny cage is one less day we get to have with you. And it breaks my heart.
Every day someone chooses not to do the right thing is another day you suffer and think we’ve just abandoned you.
Every day we have to keep fighting and speaking out against this injustice is one more day someone could have simply chosen to end it.
This has gone on far too long.
We just want our Lucy back home.

There's a lot of gnashing of teeth on Facebook these days.
Certain neighbors are angry that they didn't get a chance to talk to the press prior to the WHSV story about my fight to #SaveLucy, the dog who escaped war ten years ago, only to be taken by animal control following a freak slip of her collar that left her briefly loose - for only a few seconds - in my own yard.
They are lighting their torches and getting their pitchforks ready.
I can't deny that after the way they have treated my wife, @Herb_Minstrel, over the past two years, and after what they have done to my dog, part of me wishes they had talked to the press. Part of me wishes they had gotten the chance to publicly call for the death of the 11-year-old dog who helped bring me back from war ten years ago. To make their case that she deserves capital punishment following a freak collar mishap. To make the case that I deserve jail time for my dog being off the leash for a few seconds in my own yard. To make the case that a veteran of numerous war zone tours deserves to be made a criminal for a freak accident that hurt nobody.
It would be a public demonstration of man's inhumanity for man.
Nothing they say - no lie they tell, no gossip they repeat, no claim they exaggerate - can change the fact that what they are pushing for, at the end of the day, is for the death of a creature that very few would like to see killed. It is the 1% side of a 99/1 issue. And that may be overstating their support.
They would fall on their own pitchforks.
A part of me would relish the sight. A big part of me. If I'm honest, way too big a part of me. That's a heart issue.
I wrote a long post earlier detailing these desires, which I now realize were sinful, couching them in terms of righteousness and writing as passionately as I could about how it would be justice if they came to be reality.
Maybe it would be worldly justice. That's not the justice I am seeking.
I had convinced myself, however, that it was, despite the cognitive dissonance, and I had convinced myself that I was right, however, in that moment. I was on the verge of posting my diatribe, when the DC Talk song "In the Light" played on my YouTube playlist.
I love that song. This time, it hit me differently though. The words fell on me like a ton of bricks.
"What's going on inside of me?
I despise my own behavior
This only serves to confirm my suspicions
That I'm still a man in need of a savior"
I thought back to these words 👇 I wrote almost two weeks ago when in brokenness I had nowhere to turn but to prayer. Those weren't my words. Those were the words of the Holy Spirit. They were given to me to guide me in moments like this, when my selfish nature rears its ugly head.
In full humility, I saw that I am nothing more than a frail jar of clay, unable to live up to my own words through my own strength alone.
Lord, through your strength, I have chosen grace. I have chosen forgiveness. I will not name and shame anyone. Not because I can't. Because I choose not to. Work in me. Help me to be the man you want me to be. Help me to be the man my wife and family need me to be. Help me to be the man Lucy needs me to be so she can come home.
Thanks to 1995 DC Talk for singing to me across time before I could post something I could regret.
Because all I want is to be in the light.

Chevron is letting customers know in California that it’s not Donald Trump causing the insane gas prices in the state, it’s California Democrats
Chevron just added these new signs to their pumps educating customers, “Sacramento policies did this. Now you pay more”
“California politicians are choosing foreign oil and fuels over local jobs and lower costs”
This is what we need. Huge companies willing to educate the public and tell the truth
It’s Gavin Newsom and Democrat policies causing $6.30+ average cost per gallon in California
