A little update on @taprootpunksbtc

It's been 3 days since I bought in. I was looking for a low entry point into an ordinals project and spent some time going through the top 24HR collections on @MagicEden

I eventually settled on this project based on some fundamentals that I look for:

1) Active Discord that has decent conversations
2) Founders with good ethics
3) Good usage of current #ordinals protocols

In just 3 days, there are multiple holders who have taken it upon themselves to create constant memes and images for the community to use (one of which I am using here)

There are holders who have taken it upon themselves to start building collection explorers with rarity scores

There are holders who have taken it upon themselves to draw additional art to use with the punks

There are holders who have brought their friends in, gifted them punks and made sure we are seeing fresh faces

As many of you know, the small part I can play is to share my knowledge on the tech side. Several people I have had the pleasure of sharing knowledge and they have been really receptive

I feel that many times, people just want to hold an NFT and let everyone else do the work. But when people willingly and collectively work towards a common goal, we can get there much faster

It also starts to build value in the community. Who wouldn't want to invite or collab with a group known for having a lot of proactive holders with a wide range of skill sets?

Of course, this may all amount to nothing. The nature of the space is that people have short attention spans and get swayed by the next shiny thing

As it's only been 3 days, I can only report on what I have seen so far. Long may it continue
