Spending time in God’s Word offers us so much more than quick fixes. The Bible doesn’t just give us instruction for today—it also plants wisdom in our hearts for the future.
One of the best things we can say to a friend today? “I understand."
We all have hurts. We all need grace.
"I understand" says I'm no better than you, but together we're stronger. It's a loving & disarming admission that we're all in this together.
Today, let’s choose to be women who extend grace and forgiveness...
Because we know how desperately we need grace ourselves.
Because we know how freely the Lord has forgiven us.
Because we don’t want to walk around with bitterness, resentment, and anger polluting our hearts.
When I desperately want to know why, I remember, Jesus had all the answers and he still wept.
Maybe having the answers for why hurt happens wouldn’t be as comforting as we think it would be.
Maybe not understanding is what grows our faith.
Calling on the name of Jesus shouldn’t be our last resort. It should be our first response.
So let’s choose to speak the name of Jesus over every need today. There is no other greater power or more assuring calm.
Jesus. Only Jesus. Forever Jesus.
