You are not “burnt out”.
You are exploited, overworked & underpaid.
Use language that accurately describes the underlying problem.
Your body isn't broken; the conditions you're enduring are what's broken. Your body is accurately & normally responding to exploitation.
I hope @kariskogland & @MarvelStudios understand who "everyone" includes when they're talking about a white supremacist character being "likable" because he saved a bus of mostly white, powerful world leaders. Kari's words made it clear Marvel's writing rooms are far too white.
#FalconAndTheWinterSoldier director Kari Skogland says the goal was to get everyone to like John Walker by the end of the season

I want to sit with what it meant for colonialism to rob cultures of entire genders. Genders that were holy and sacred. The scale of that violence globally is hard to imagine. And today the cultures that colonialism produced try to rob us of sacred, holy genders again and again.
In the midst of everything, Florida passed a law to jail protesters and block cities from making cuts to police budgets. Republican state legislatures are moving in lock-step to expand state power to arrest and kill people, while restricting the vote. Jim Crow 2.0
White apathy is passivity and inaction in regards to ending white supremacy. Sometimes this apathy is covered in cheap answers to the complexities of white supremacy, sometimes it is covered in performative action, like #BLM in your social media bio.

Hey, @nflnetwork: can we just be done with Casserly? He has a history of falsely reporting Black QBs as “character concerns” & now has Fields going 24th when most have him going in the top 5? Someone can be a legend and also be racist & need to stop being given a platform. #NFL
Wow! MPs calls for Body Mass Index to be scrapped as it 'contributes to eating disorders' "A committee said the obesity strategy is dangerous" and recommends a Health at Every Size approach - Manchester Evening News https://t.co/LiJEqSTR03
Honored to be the first poet EVER on the cover of @voguemagazine , & what a joy to do so while wearing a Black designer, @virgilabloh . This is called the Rise of Amanda Gorman, but it's truly for all of you, both named & unseen, who lift me up 🕊🦋
Love,
Amanda
Get this.
Last night I, along with a coalition of Black physicians, met with the President and Senior Leadership of the AMA.
Here’s what went down:

JUST NOW: Tishaura Jones WINS mayoral election in St. Louis.
She ran as the most progressive candidate in the primary & the runoff: includes support for ending cash bail, decriminalizing sex work, closing Workhouse jail, & more.
She's the 1st black woman elected as mayor here.
loosening mask rules when visitors are flying into Disney World from states with active Covid-19 caseloads — as Florida itself leads a variant surge — makes no sense to me.
I can no longer report on theme parks without thinking of employee safety, and this seems unfair to staff.
Texas has the most restrictive voting laws of any state in the nation.
Our state ranks 47th in the percentage of eligible voters that are registered and 43rd in 2020 voter turnout.
SB7 and HB6 are nothing more than a GOP power grab attempting to further suppress Texas voters.
"When @GovRonDeSantis tells Floridians they don’t have to be vaccinated before going to a large concert, going on a cruise or returning to a movie theater, he’s giving more excuses and promoting vaccine hesitancy. He should get the shot himself + lead by example." -@CarlosGSmith
Ted, this is pretty rich coming from someone who fled their own home (and responsibilities) during an environmental crisis to cross the border and seek refuge in Mexico.
Also you funded cages, expanded cages, and yet you’re complaining about cages. You have no policy, just puff.
I keep thinking about @LilNasX’s video and how his journey to hell is actually more accessible to me than many Christians’ idea of getting into heaven.
He slid down a pole to hell rather than take the steps to heaven. It’s an excellent metaphor for disability & faith.
