Stop confusing timing with love. Some people didn't choose you, they just didn't have a better option yet, you thought it was connection, you thought it was chemistry, you thought they finally saw you, but the truth is their life was empty and you were available. You filled the gap they needed in, filled it at the exact moment they needed it. And the second something better walked in, or the second they healed enough to attract what they actually wanted, then you became unnecessary. That's not love. That is what I call convenience with eye contact. Love chooses you when the options are plentiful. Timing chooses you when the options are scarce and you gotta learn the difference before you give your love to someone that's only present because their first choice isn't available yet. Look at when they showed up. Was it after a breakup, after a loss, after a season where they were alone long enough to get uncomfortable and look at how they treat you now that life is full again. Are you still the priority or did you slowly slide from the center of the world to the edge of their schedule without them ever saying a word. The person who truly chose you does it when they have other options, when the timing is complicated when saying yes to you means saying no to something else. That is a choice. Everything else is availability. They only wanted you when nobody else was around. They never wanted you, they wanted someone and you happened to be there, you deserve to be someone's first choice on their best day, not their safest option on a slow one.
