At CABVI, we offer competitive, integrated employment. Our blind and visually impaired employees earn prevailing wages with benefits equal to their sighted peers. #NIBWorkforce@NatIndBlind
Meaningful employment is more than just a source of income; it is a source of pride. We are committed to helping blind and visually impaired individuals find and retain jobs they value, whether it is employment in the community or employment at CABVI.

Metaphorically.
Just don't ever punch down.
Too easy.
Punch up if you feel the need to crack something.
It's only to make ya'self feel better.
Better not ta'punch at all.
Try another way.
Something less violent.
Or you just might break something for good.
Something like yourself
Friday was such a blast for everyone! Once again, everyone could not contain their smiles and excitement. The day was filled with tandem bicycling, an obstacle course, Turnbull Tubing, and much more! We were so happy to be back at Camp Nazareth this year :-)
It is World Optometry Day! Without the vision professionals of the world, we would not have the resources and knowledge to help individuals who are blind, visually impaired, or need glasses to improve their optical range. Thank you for all that you do!
With COVID restrictions slowing being lifted, we are happy to resume our adaptive sports and recreation programs to help individuals with their overall health! Every Tuesday night, we host a Utica College balance that engages participants and the students😀
Putting together an Easter basket for a Utica Council of the Blind (UCB) fundraiser. Ticket sales and details coming this week! 🐰✝️ https://t.co/luH7ZZ2KGV
Check out our recent segment on Facebook with ABC50 in Watertown with Al! They talk about our footprint in the north country and how we are helping individuals with vision loss. https://t.co/g5Fn5z3XGq
The past year was a test for all of us. At CABVI, we made the appropriate adjustments to combat the virus and, at the same time, continued to employ nearly 300 people and serve almost 1,700 individuals. We are looking forward to 2021 and remain optimistic for the road ahead!
