@ptrmadurai Sir, do consider this for future lockdowns. Basis learnings from the second wave and lockdown, create an SOP and announce well in advance a case cap (say 3000 new daily cases) at which point the city/state will go into a lockdown.

Case cap can be different for different districts and planned in advance basis available district infra. Why announce this number? 1) Helps people plan in advance, whether wrt to home maintenance or planning alternative income sources for jobs affected by lockdowns.
