Friends don't let friends forget to vote.
It's Election Day! The last day you can vote in this election. More people forget to vote than you'd think. It's time for change. #skpoli
The Sask Party does not deserve to remain in power.
If your plan was to hold your nose and vote SP, I kindly ask that you reconsider. They at the very least need time on the outside of power to refocus.
It's been 17 years. It is time for change.

BREAKING: Sask. Party MLA Gary Grewal has been found guilty. He broke the law & personally profited off government contracts. He jacked up motel room rates for government clients, swindling taxpayers for $731,000. This is exactly why voters are looking for change. #skpoli
Went canvassing in Willowgrove with the brilliant & compassionate @WakulaAlana last wk.
I met parents & grandparents who were downright LIVID at the SP for Bill 137.
The changeroom policy has added fuel to the fire.
I feel the orange wave coming to SK.
E-9 days.
Let's go!

Under Scott Moe, class sizes have ballooned as the government cut education funding every single year. We will make a generational investment in our students. #skpoli https://t.co/l8hegq1UqM
Just did a quick read through the health care section of the Sask Party platform.
There is nothing in there that will address the reality of the crisis we are facing right now in our system. No acknowledgment of challenges. No potential solutions offered
Nothing will change.

⚠️Reminder: Saskatchewan funds public education at the lowest rate in Canada.
It’s not just a little lower, either. It’s HALF the rate of Quebec.
From an economic standpoint, how do our kids compete?

The only time I enjoyed school was when I enjoyed the teacher. Even if I hated the subject, the teacher made it worthwhile. In education, relationships matter most.
If we really want to get our species through the climate crisis, we should put home ec classes back in schools.
Knowing how to fix, mend, sew, and cook shouldn’t be luxuries. Every person should know these things, and teaching them is good climate policy.
With binding arbitration, one chapter of our fight for #sasked is done, but another is starting right now. Remember we have elections coming up?
This is where we must DEMAND changes. We must vote for candidates who genuinely care about education and not the ones who gaslight us.
Once again the SK Party offered binding arbitration but did not agree to include complexity. Because they didn’t agree to that a arbitrator can not award provisions of it unless both sides agree. This is the issue here.
It’s important to know that even in binding arbitration the arbitrator’s jurisdiction has to be agreed upon by the parties involved.
For example, if one party refuses to arbitrate wages, it’s not included. If one party refuses to arbitrate working conditions, it’s not arbitrated.
The scope of the arbitration, binding or not, is decided by the involved parties.
The arbitrator rules on the matter they are presented. That award is binding.
The content is still up to the parties.
Why would the Premier of Saskatchewan make this premature announcement instead of SaskPower? The GoS seems to have neutered SaskPower's ability to function as an independent legal entity and have taken over the monopoly electric utility for political purposes. Nuclear power projects are among the most complex, costly, and dangerous in the world and should NEVER be politicized, as the SMR project is.
The GoS has apparently "selected Estevan to be the site of Sask's first SMR" when SaskPower will not even decide if an SMR will be built for another 5 years - and only if SaskPower receives the necessary Federal approvals and permits to operate. So-called "industry" groups funded by the GoS give false hope that a nuclear supply chain will be developed in SK, which is highly unlikely given the existing sophisticated and robust supply chain in Ontario. What happens to Estevan if there is a change in government in 5 years who decide not to proceed, or costs kill the project (as is happening right now to SMR projects in the US) or the technology fails? An SMR has never been successfully operated commercially anywhere in Canada before. This is textbook mismanagement of stakeholder expectations.
Aside from creating radioactive waste in SK, and the astronomical cost to SK taxpayers of $5-$10 Billion for 300MW (same MW as an IPP wind farm which costs $0 to SK taxpayers), I am very concerned when I see such costly, complex and dangerous projects being developed and managed by politicians instead of experts.
As residents of Saskatchewan, we need to consider if we trust a government that openly defies and breaks Federal laws, to build and operate a nuclear power generation facility, which will be permitted and regulated by Federal law.
