@MichelleObama Sending love and peace from our family to yours. Thank you for sharing your beautiful mom with us through your books, your stories, and your lives. What a gift ❤️
@usedgov Except for the fact that payments are not being accurately counted/tracked for folks whose loans were transferred to other servicers or who have consolidated. I’ve been paying on my loans for more than 20 yrs and they’re saying I’ve made 4 qualifying payments.
@ehaspel Take your pick:
“Wish I could only work 8-3 and get summers off!” 🙄
“But $ spent on kids like yours takes away from all the others.” 🤬
“Why do they still need sign with captions and those implant thingies?”🤯
“Oh please - why are you stressed? You play with babies all day!”
@CovingtonEDU @JustTeachingELA amazing ASL teachers are often unable to obtain required teaching certs due to English language barriers. There would be many more certified Deaf ASL teachers in schools if we did a better job of not having language deprived Deaf/Hard of Hearing children due to lack of access 2/2
@CovingtonEDU @JustTeachingELA ToD who is also certified in ASL here: it really depends on the district, whether or not individual states accept ASL in fulfillment of language requirements, and whether or not Deaf instructors are required to have certs to teach courses. Many Deaf adults who would be (1/2)
Kudos to @hearingnvision, @Vision_TVI & @mciu_oss for presenting at #CEC2022 on their Deaf-Blind Resource Team experience! MCIU 23's DBRT is developing capacity to better serve our DeafBlind students in the eastern region of PA #PADBP#DeafBlind#EducationForAll
@dst6n01 My ❤️ is with you; I can't imagine 2. My hands are full with this one, who informs me that she is "not a child" on the regular. Well then, young lady, if you don't want to be treated like a child, let's do what we need to and not act like one, m'kay? Thanks! 🤦🏻♀️ #TheStruggleIsReal
@dst6n01 I thought when I did my best impression of a flight attendant demonstrating how the mask has to go over the mouth AND the nose for the 100th time, that might do it. Apparently not. Perhaps laminated visual aids posted in highly visible areas?! 😳
@L_D_Washington So very sorry, LaToya. Losing our students puts holes in our souls; losing them to violence even more so. Sending so much love to you and all the people who loved her. Holding you all in the light ❤️
@JustTeachingELA Yup, Cait - they’ve historically done it for every other malady and this is the latest, horrific installment. We are clearly deserving of whatever we get because we have the audacity to exist in our bodies - and double if we aren’t appropriately self-loathing.
@BrailleMatters@dst6n01 Have you found that the markings last longer given the polymer-based stock they’re printing on to extend its useful life? I’m so curious if the switch to different paper stock is a reason the US Treasury would cite as an “obstacle” to making our currency more accessible 🧐
