I rejoined twitter just to share this - my dear friend and coworker is having to fight so so hard to get life saving medication for her children, it's not okay and it should upset you even if you don't know her or her sweet kiddos

This is an important thread. I think there are some overstatements by the OP and in the comments, but the fact remains that charity and grace needs to be shared on both sides. No conflict is healthy when you assume malicious intent of the other side 🤷‍♀️

@JaredWSaltz Being the only female in the room for 95% of my classes and the day I realized I was comfortable with that was the day I started trying to convince other women to join the program

@JaredWSaltz Honestly one of THE MOST disheartening things during my time at FC was the amount of people who asked "why" I was getting a Biblical studies degree/and the amount of (male) peers in the department who had no clue I was in the department.
