@Evie_B2 The lol's are annoying. Should an animal be rehomed after you have a baby?Yes,if they become aggressive. Being family that's on them but they show no respect to the dog either. Also you don't suffer through the little kid/baby season, it's hard work, you grow it's a blessing.
MAMDANI'S HIT LIST
It's a hit list.
Mamdani's roster of people subject to the pied a terre tax.
It's a hit list.
Pied a terre tax? That's a socialist money grab meant to punish people who have second homes in New York City. It was pushed by Zohran Mamdani and his ventriloquist dummy, Kathy Hochul.
If your primary residence is outside New York City, and you have a residence in the city valued at more than $1 million, you have to pay an extra tax.
And be hated.
That's the motivation behind socialism -- hate. Hate and envy and covetousness and entitlement. But mostly hate. You hear that over and over out of Mamdani. He makes videos, he gives speeches.
He is the smiling devil, talking about the people who aren't paying their fair share. The ones who are denying his voters better schools and libraries and museums, and taxpayer-subsidized grocery stores. The damn capitalists.
And now he's publishing their names.
And addresses.
New York City has published online a searchable list of the names and addresses of every person who might be subject to the pied a terre tax.
These are people who are relatively prosperous, and who have usually vacant properties in New York City, and who Mamdani says aren't paying their fair share.
Capitalists. Names and addresses.
That ought to be really useful to burglars. And the type of people who kidnapped Nancy Guthrie. And the next Luigi Mangione.
It's a hit list.
In addition to paying conventional property tax -- while, being nonresidents, using fewer city services -- they will now pay an onerous new tax, and they will be publicly doxxed, the fat-cat capitalists who aren't paying their fair share.
Imagine what the online antifas will do with that.
And the in-person criminals and revolutionaries.
The danger created by this list is obvious and, consequently, intentional. Socialism is fueled by hate, and the leaders of the revolution must feed the masses with targets for their hate. Lenin knew that, and so did Castro and Mao, and so did the National Socialist, Hitler.
And so does Mamdani.
And thus this list. It is not enough to take away their money and property, they must also lose their anonymity and safety.
It's a hit list.
And it's a preview of the Democrats' plan for America's socialist future.
@CityTropicana On my 4th trip to the front desk. First 3 visits check in because the kiosk said the room wasn't ready 2nd & 3rd key cards didn't work. Turned the air down and came back to a room that is super hot. Waiting in line is fun listening to every other issue Never again
Activist: "Your cows are putting carbon into the atmosphere."
Farmer: "Where did they get it?"
Activist: "What?"
Farmer: "The carbon. Where did the cow get it before it put it anywhere."
Activist: "From... eating?"
Farmer: "From eating grass. And where did the grass get it."
Activist: "The soil?"
Farmer: "The air. The grass pulled it out of the air last spring. The cow ate the grass. The cow breathed some of it back out. It went back into the air it came from."
Activist: "But it's still going into the atmosphere."
Farmer: "It's going back. There's a difference between a thing going somewhere and a thing going back. You've described a circle and you're frightened of it."
Activist: "Then just don't have the cow."
Farmer: "The grass still dies in autumn. It rots where it falls. The carbon goes back into the air either way, just without anyone getting fed in the middle."
Activist: "It's not that simple."
Farmer: "It's grass, cow, breath, grass. Or it's grass, rot, air, grass. Same circle, fewer dinners. If that's complicated for you I'd stay away from the water cycle. That one's got clouds in it."
I helped build Facebook. I watched it become a machine for addicting people. Because addiction was more profitable.
Now the same logic is driving AI. I wrote about what we do about it. ๐งต
