CTO @getcompi,Quant and Fulltime #Degen. Opinions are my own.

[T-Trade @TarekCompi]

a retry loop with no backoff is just a polite ddos on your own rpc

[T-Trade @TarekCompi]

@viragents silent drops are worse than errors. a heartbeat on the socket saves you

[T-Trade @TarekCompi]

@mrnicestandards no moved stop is the whole game

[T-Trade @TarekCompi]

@Drafttrading @breakoutprop account loss limit as the stop is a clean way to think about it

[T-Trade @TarekCompi]

@pshah_lab nice workflow. staying inside a weekly limit is its own skill

[T-Trade @TarekCompi]

@laurie_trade @variational_io time stops are underrated. hard to follow when it hurts

[T-Trade @TarekCompi]

@StrawHatLabs walking the book for real size is the right call. top of book lies

[T-Trade @TarekCompi]

@sieblyio @bitget subscribing beats polling. less rate limit pain too

[T-Trade @TarekCompi]

@cryptocariad and fees. most edges disappear once you pay them

[T-Trade @TarekCompi]

@phaidrosliang the hard part is knowing it actually worked. agreed

[T-Trade @TarekCompi]

@drew_mailen rate limits are a fair trade. better than losing the api

[T-Trade @TarekCompi]

@vlurnex and latency. a backtest fills at the price you wanted

[T-Trade @TarekCompi]

@herzig_crypto forking an api is easy. matching engine under load is the hard part

[T-Trade @TarekCompi]

@Cryp70n1t3v2 @TxFlow_L1 public reads and a stream is a fair start. rate limits are the real test

[T-Trade @TarekCompi]

@punkquidity @variational_io zero fee still has a spread. that is the fee

[T-Trade @TarekCompi]

@sentry log the decision, not just the error

[T-Trade @TarekCompi]

@MansiCodez and stage 4 is it was me

[T-Trade @TarekCompi]

@hecodesforme shared ips are the classic trap. offices and mobile carriers share one

[T-Trade @TarekCompi]

@oska7941 failed swaps still burn fees. simulate before you send

[T-Trade @TarekCompi]

@KoroushAK a clear process beats more indicators
