@ianmiles @alphafox My dad used to make it here in a plant in SENC until Bill Clinton & NAFTA came along. Same with our textile industry. We used to make all sorts of products here at home. Also, we had plenty of timber mills in NC too…some still exist but not many.

@dogwoodblooms I’d go w/chopped pork & slaw sandwich. Then, PB&J, PB&Banana (with Duke’s mayo), fried bologna. Those are NC traditions. But given the migration influx over the past 20 years not surprising. But I’ve eaten plenty of grilled cheese w tomato soup for dinner.
