People criticise Man City because they don’t have as much fans as Man United and the likes, but one thing they know how to do is honor people.
Yesterday, after the game at Etihad, they awarded Bernardo and John Stones a lifetime ticket to Man City games, amongst many other things.
On the red side of Manchester, Paul Scholes was complaining recently on a podcast that he was struggling to get a match ticket for a Man United game, this is a player who won dozens of titles at the club.
In this clip, they also honor a player who won the FA Cup for them 50 years ago.
Run it down to Kompany, to Fernandinho, to the new generation, Man City as a club know how to honor people. Give them that.
In fact, they missed honoring Ederson and Gundogan, guess what, they brought them back to the club yesterday, and the event today.
Their fans also feel closer to the club and players than many bigger clubs. This event was £12 and sold out. Look at the organisation.
Just walked past this minutes after listening to Pep’s final press conference at City.
Tony Walsh read this out after the Manchester arena attack 9 years ago and Pep installed it in the dressing room. 🩵
Pep's unerring ability to strike the perfect tone and find the perfect sentiments when the spotlight is at its brightest will be as difficult to replace as his coaching acumen. For a decade he's taken the heat from an at times wildly unforgiving press pack, and he's come out on top every time. Even today.
I think the brilliant thing about Pep is that his imprint and legacy in the footballing world will be his tactical innovations and the way he has shaped football...but the thing he'll leave behind at City the most will be his soul and his character. His personality. His unquestionable desire for perfection will always be appreciated, but more than that he'll be remembered for demanding respect for every single member of staff at the club and looking out for them. He's an exceptional people person - just as good at that side of things as he is at understanding the game.
Dear @PepTeam,
There is a very good chance you will not see this post and for good reason. Mine is but one among the outpouring of love, gratitude, and tribute to you, our greatest manager ever, the greatest manager of all time.
When I began my journey as a City fan in '02, we were nowhere near what we are today. And the choice to follow this club, made in spite of my United-supporting dad, was not made with success or guarantees of trophies in mind.
I still remember becoming enamoured with Sun Ji Hai, seeing him soldier on with blood streaming from his head against Southampton. The FA cup replay comeback against Tottenham in '03, perhaps my favorite City game ever. My love-hate relationship with Joey Barton began that day. Despite our struggles in the following years, I didn't care. Friends would tease me, wearing their red shirts, and I didn't care. Maybe I didn't know any better but City was my team and that's all that mattered. These were the early memories of City that still bring my happiness.
I did wonder though when and if our time would ever come. I remember telling my dad over and over again that one day, it'll be different. And as dad's do, he'd laugh, roll his eyes, and say "sure." Even when word of Sheikh Mansour's takeover broke, I didn't really care because I didn't know what to think of it. And I had no idea how much everything was about to change.
An FA Cup followed. And seeing Aguero score against QPR to win us our first title in 44 years was a feeling I thought I'd never replicate. A dream come true. But to not only match but exceed that feeling? Not a chance.. at least I thought. And yet, I was happy.
I still dreamed of winning the UCL. Trebles? B2b titles? Centurions? Truthfully, they weren't even dreams because I couldn't even dream that big. Things that weren't even in the realm of my wildest imagination.
But then, you came. And how am I to thank you for making the unfathomable a reality? What so many younger fans call "the standard" now?
In many ways, I'll look back at this period of life as one of my happiest in memory. Beyond the trophies, the success, the records broken, the best days of my life to date took place while you were here. I started my company the year you arrived, married the love of my life the year of the treble, was blessed with news of my son shortly after the 4peat, started a second company, and through it all, the ups and downs of adulthood, you and City were a constant. A getaway, a reprieve from everything. After 20 years of following this club, still MY team.
And I think that's part of what made you and your tenure so special. What makes it personally harder, more emotional to see you go. This wasn't just a job for you in the same way City isn't just a club for me. Call it love, family, whatever you want. The success made it sweeter but the way you embraced us, the City, the organization.. you leave me, us, everything in a better place to the best of your ability.
While it felt like you and City were meant to be forever, it seems surreal that we've run out of time together. Despite all the bravado and contrarian posts to dispute the noise, I had a gut feeling that this was coming sooner than later. And even though I've said a lot already, I feel it isn't sufficient.
There will never be enough words to truly thank you.
I am endlessly grateful for you and your impact at my club, in my life. And I cannot wait to proudly be able to tell my son stories of just how legendary the Pep years were.
Sincerely,
A grateful fan.
Pep Guardiola on @BernardoCSilva: "If I talk a lot, I will cry.
"Just I can say, 'Thank you so much, from the deepest of my heart, on behalf of this club, what you have done'. Bernardo has proved that football starts from here [the brain], to the feet. And that guy is not the fastest, quickest, but knows exactly in every single moment what every single action requires. Never injured, always committed.
"Last season defined Bernardo for me; when everybody was not there, always he was there, suffering the first. His mentality. And he has one thing that is important; always he sees the positive things in the life. That's why his life will be so happy with his wife Ines and the kids, he will be so happy because always he's positive...
"He deserves the BIGGEST recognition. When you write 'LEGEND', you have to write in capital letters, because he has been. For every single game during nine years!
"He's a special, special player. All I can say is where he will go, the team will be SOOOO lucky to have him!" 🩵
Pep's greatest pre-match talk:
“Do your thoughts control you, or do you control your thoughts?”
That was before the final Premier League game against West Ham. A title race that went down to the wire with Arsenal. History on the line, the chance to win four Premier Leagues in a row. History was made that day.
My best ever pre-match talk.
Now bring on Arsenal. We'll take them head-on.

@FabrizioRomano For the record and this was said last year but ignored by the media. Tifo was aimed at Madrid the institution, Perez & him telling players to not attend the Ballon D’Or because Rodri won.
Manchester City Football Club is the love of my life.
A marriage that will last till death do us part. Through the gutter, through the glory, I'll be right there.
I'll defend this club. Applaud it. Show up for it. No matter what.
Win, lose, or draw, my love for you is eternal.
And I know I'm not alone. We're a community. A family. Bound by something deeper than trophies. We've bled together, celebrated together, believed together when no one else did.
This club isn't just what we watch, it's who we are.
Till the very end. 🩵
Semalam, khatib tarawih ceramah yg bikin gue overthinking..
Side Quest-nya emang didesain super menggiurkan. Numpuk harta sampai triliunan, ngejar validasi sosial, gila jabatan, pamer kemewahan.
Kita habis-habisan grinding sampai lupa sama Main Quest-nya.
Jadi tamparan keras sih buat diri sendiri pas lagi tarawih semalam.
you just hate the gov, you just can’t hate your homeland, there’s no place better than home, no matter how shit that is.

Europe’s digital rules put power where it belongs: with the people.

🇪🇸🗣️ Marcos Llorente on IG: "I’m here to clarify the whole glasses topic because I see a lot of people didn’t understand anything… or maybe never will. And that’s fine. Not everyone is ready to question what they’ve been taught. If you’re not interested in your health, you can keep scrolling.
Nothing I share is made up. It’s not a “personal opinion.” It’s biology (real biology). You just have to read it. So if what I say bothers you, argue with biology, not with me.
I use glasses with yellow (special) lenses during the day when I’m indoors. And at night, if I go out or I’m exposed to artificial light, I use glasses with red lenses. Why? Because I protect my biology. Blue light, outside its natural context (daytime), is toxic. And it’s not me saying it; it’s your mitochondria, when they stop producing energy as they should.
Your retina and your skin have receptors that detect light and its colors. Your body uses them to turn essential biological processes on or off. If you send it the wrong signal, like looking at a screen at 10 p.m. or a white LED light while having dinner, your body responds incorrectly. Period. There’s no debate there.
And yes, the most serious damage happens at night when you disrupt your natural production of melatonin. Maybe you’re thinking: “Pfft, melatonin… who cares?” Well, it turns out it matters a lot. Melatonin doesn’t just help you sleep.
• It maintains cellular voltage and regulates calcium and potassium ion channels (cancer).
• It inhibits the Warburg effect; in other words, with enough melatonin, cancer cannot proliferate.
• It inhibits aromatase, blocking pathways related to breast cancer.
• Together with melanin, it’s the most powerful antioxidant in the body.
• It's anti-inflammatory and boosts the immune system.
• It regulates your biological clocks.
• It controls two key cellular programs: autophagy (cellular cleaning) and apoptosis (programmed cell death). This helps prevent cancer and neurodegenerative diseases.
Wearing glasses that filter artificial light isn’t a biohacker trend. It’s a necessity if you live trapped in modern environments, away from the sun, surrounded by screens and LED lights.
A hug to everyone ❤️"

I could talk for a very, very long time about our mistreatment and abuses in our imprisonment. Trust me, but that is not the story.
Israel is escalating genocide and mass destruction with genocidal intent, attempting to erase an entire population in front of our eyes.
