@AilsaMcL Has #Tavish been asked how much he gets for his constant spouting of pro-salmon guff? How ironic can #SalmonScotland get? Own goal of the century! Black hole money did you say?
@law4salmon@AilsaMcL#OSH did go pop but their feed supplier firm formerly known as Cargill have agreed a loan with them, so we fear their re-emergence.
@law4salmon Never cleaned up beaches on #Skye, many of which are littered with large plastic pipes from #salmon farms e.g. Talisker, Camus Mor. The worst is you cannot recover any of the micro plastic attrition from their feed pipes, which goes straight into our seas.
@AilsaMcL#salmon farming companies and their industry body #salmonscotland ("the source of trusted information" ๐คฃ) moan about every attempt to get them to improve their behaviour, openness and honesty IMHO.
@AilsaMcL@StephenFlynnSNP The SNP MSPs hide behind a simplistic, convenient jobs mantra and ignore the local communities majority wishes, directing councils and @ScottishEPA to nod this disgraceful and damaging industry to new depths and locations. Shame on them, in the pockets of the billionaires
Welcome to #Skye, where you might think it's a new industrial heartland, given this huge #salmon feed factory, together with the industrial #salmon farming that encircles the island. Anyone would think that Salmon Scotland controlled #Scotgov. Oh wait a minute...
Ah yes, this is what tourists want to see as they cross the iconic Skye bridge. A Norwegian Mowi factory, pelletising wild fish, to feed farmed #Salmon, caged in the factory farms which are polluting Scotland's inshore waters. #OffTheTable#FoodInsecurity
