This man is a hero.
Captain Smit Machchhar, the Indian captain of flydubai Flight 1073, fought back after being stabbed in the cockpit.
Despite being severely injured, he managed to unlock the cockpit door - allowing Israeli passengers and the Emirati crew to intervene and save all the passengers.
Together, their extraordinary courage saved 174 lives.
Indian. Israeli. Emirati.
Different nationalities. One extraordinary act of courage. 🇮🇳🇮🇱🇦🇪
We wish Captain Machchhar a full and speedy recovery.
My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery.
Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster.
He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals.
I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery.
He is a true hero.
India mein koi 5 minutes number Google kar le to doodh ka doodh paani ka paani ho jaye.
RBI surplus to Govt : ₹2.87 Lakh Crores (US$30 Bn)
Total listed bank profits : ₹4.11 Lakh Crores (US$42 Bn)
NPCI - which runs UPI pre tax ‘surplus’ : ₹ 1,888 crores (US$200 Mn)
To nuksaan kis ka ho raha hai UPI se aur kaunsi subsidy de rahi hai Govt UPI pe jo chubh rahi hai?
Cost of running ATMs and cash logistics in India is ₹30,500 crores (US$ 3.0 Bn). If you want to optimise shut ATMs and promote UPI instead.
Any levy on UPI is just tax collection. UPI is the one scientific achievement of India everyone acknowledges par ab tax ki bali chadhegi.

It was such a peaceful movement, feel so sad that it had to take a violent turn. My heart goes out to the students and their families who were hurt. Paper leak is a very serious issue, and I am glad to know n see that the kids of our country have come together for a better educational system, and their parents supported them.
I truly appreciate the stand they have taken, showing dedication, sincerity, and keenness to study hard n make their future and a greater, educated India. This andolan, this protest, is the right way to go abt it, n the students have done this peacefully. So courageous and brave. Driven and motivated towards education, this generation will make India proud.
This issue is between the students and the educational system, it should not be hijacked politically, the credit should only go to the students of our country, and I am sure the government will also give them all the support n make it a stronger educational system. It’s a win-win situation. Hoping n praying for a positive decision. God bless all of you who wanna be educated.
Education should be the next trend and fashion, and should get trendier n more fashionable yr by yr, itna k bahar se log come to India to study and India becomes an educational hub.
> Public didn't protest when the school was provided with poor infrastructure, falling roofs and no toilets.
> Public didn't protest when Private schools kept increasing fees without any cap.
> Public didn't protest when Govt didn't improve overall quality of education in Govt school.
Public already ignored everything major, had lowest of expectations from Govt, now just demanding to fix accountability, still not able to make Govt sack education minister over paper leak.
This is what happens when you keep voting for someone long enough without any delivery on promises and without asking questions. They take you for granted.
It's not that Pradhan is especially imp. It's just that his resignation would open the door to accountability, something they've been avoiding for a long time, ever since they came to power. They're afraid that if he resigns, the next demands will be for Ashwini, Brij Bhushan,
mujhe ye “congress did this too” wala argument genuinely samajh nahi ata. people voted them out because they wanted change. if your benchmark is the party people rejected, you’re literally proving the criticism, not beating it
Now Police finds that Ayushi not only got her mother murdered, but she also got her father murdered so that she can get her father's job & his property.
Just at 23 years, she is such a hardcore criminal. Where society is headed? This is what happens when we do not read Ramayana Mahabharat but watch Ekta Kapoor’s serials
The legalised corruption that Modi 3.0 has enabled is mind boggling. Absolutely no accountability. Ethanol and conflict of interests in real estate. BJP guys have been totally defiant. Mantri ji is earning money why you’re defending? Shame where party supersedes nation.
Shocking. Racist. Derogatory.
Norway’s largest broadsheet newspaper Aftenposten brazens it out with a shocking cartoon depicting Indian PM @narendramodi as a Snake Charmer with the headline: “A sneaky and slightly annoying man”.
They can’t digest India’s rise and success. Pity!
65,000 herero & 10000 Nama people were killed between 1904 - 1908 in what would be present day Namibia. This was the first genocide of the 20th century.
Germany colonised Namibia in 1884 it was one of the most brutal colonies in Africa. The native herero and Nama people lost land, limb and life as german rule and their debt expanded.
After years of theft, abuse & oppression by Germans the herero people finally rose in rebellion what followed was one the most brutal purge by thousands by German troops under General lothar Von trotha.
In August 1904 after the battle of waterberg the herero surrendered but Lothar did not accept it instead he drove thousands of herero into the omaheke desert blocking access to food & water.
"Every Herero found inside German borders, with or without a gun, will be shot"
Thousands of Men, women and children died of thirst, starvation and exposure in the desert. The survivors were put into concentration camps were sexual violence, indentured labour and cruel experimentation were performed on them daily. The Nama rebellion faced the same result.
By the time Germans were done 80% of Herero and 50% of Nama were dead. It took the German government 117 years to recognise this as gencoide
This is just one chapter in the blood soaked book of colonisation
