On Friday, September 6th, we lost a strong, beautiful, and ever-inspiring soul, Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi, yet another martyr to the violent Zionist entity.

As her family describes, “Ayşenur was a loving daughter, sister, partner and aunt. She wore her heart on her sleeves. She felt a deep responsibility to serve others and lived a life of caring for those in need with action. She was a fiercely passionate human rights activist her whole life - a steadfast and staunch advocate of justice.”

We stand by these words and honor the inspiring legacy that Ayşenur has left behind and the beauty she brought to our community. We invite all those touched by her legacy to join us for a community-organized vigil on Wednesday, September 11th 6:30PM at Alki Beach, across from the Blue Moon Burgers (coordinates: 47.5814, -122.4058), allowing us a space to share our grief side by side.
