I think this is the first year I ever completed my New Year’s resolution. I managed to complete a personal triathlon, now I just need to get the times down. 8 hours of continuous exercise.

Holy, first day of swimming and I completely forgot how, glad I’ve been able to brick cycling and running, but I don’t know if I can manage 1.5 km swimming in 3 weeks.

Work gave me some free time before I jump on with a new client, so I decided to toss together a quick vfx shot. Skull, bone and sand texture assets are from quixel, everything else I made from scratch. Also homeworld 3 launched, should play it, did some vfx for that too.

Lost 30 lbs, none of my latex fits properly anymore so now I’ve got to spend my free time browsing gear and porn for what I want. Sigh.

2024 is off to a roaring start, down 15lbs, ran my first 10k, bought my own place, and nearing on 100 days sober.

Finally feels like I’m back in a rebuilding phase after what was probably one of the toughest years in my life.

A psa for those of you getting older. Talk with your parents about these types of issues. This specific scam involves a ‘courier’ potentially coming to a home address, or meeting them somewhere, which opens the door for further victimization.

Apparently my voice has been replicated using ai and scammers have been contacting my parents fraudulently using my voice. So that’s a new exciting thing…
