An incredible weekend at the 57th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival for the 🌎 Premier of "In Camera"

BEYOND PROUD!
‘In Camera’ Review: Naqqash Khalid’s Elastic, Exciting Industry Satire – Variety https://t.co/AwhNKQJDfS
I am beside myself
It’s incredible to read a review that captures our film In Camera. The fear of the world not understanding or getting it.. that it will be above or below people’s heads. That they won’t care.. all that and more and then THIS.. on our marvel & insanely talented Naqqash Khalid coming up strong with this writer.. who GOT IT!!!!
I don’t know what in the world happened for us to get so lucky as the stars collide, the gift of emotional intelligence compassion talent experience forethought and foresight
Into what this film means and has meant. SEEN!
This article means the world to us thank you @Variety_Film@Variety@GuyLodge

Holy cow this is good.
Jon Stewart easily lures a pro-gun/anti-drag queen Republican into a trap…and then blasts him over his blatant, shameless hypocrisy.
More great news for #GFF23's Opening Gala UK Premiere film GIRL 🎉
A week today we'll be welcoming writer/director Adura Onashile, young star Le’Shantey Bonsu, and local talent, as we open Glasgow Film Festival 2023 with their fantastic Glasgow-set film 🥳
We have two fantastic feature debuts from women of colour bookending #GFF23 as our Opening and Closing Films; GIRL and POLITE SOCIETY.
We couldn't be happier to have these distinct new voices set the tone for the festival. 🎉
Adura Onashile and Nida Manzoor are set to stun ✨
“Cinematographer Tasha Back’s visual palette has a depth of color that itself often feels like a cocoon”
GIRL (Sundance FF2023) – Review by Leslie Combemale – ALLIANCE OF WOMEN FILM JOURNALISTS https://t.co/uAu4Bunoz1… #aduraonashile#Sundance2023#sundancecinematography
Adura Onashile’s lovely and devastating #Girl had downright stunning cinematography and lighting. Shots of Ama sleeping in her bedroom in particular looked like an oil painting.
"intimately explores the relationship between a mother & a daughter, but also the relationship with one’s past & one’s self."
