Caltrain, through Tasha's work, has been connected to rail safety group @olinational, for more than 11 years.

Nancy Sheehan of Operation Lifesaver zoomed in to accept the proclamation.

California had 800+ rail fatalities from 2017-20.

Caltrain's @tashbart took two important messages to the board today, first a proclamation for #HispanicHeritageMonth honoring the contributions of Hispanic Americans in the Bay Area & transit.

She also kicked off #RailSafetyMonth, unveiling a month of events.
