The brutal murder of Henry Nowak is a tragedy that demands absolute justice. Henry had his whole life ahead of him, stolen by a violent criminal and a family who helped hide the evidence. While we respect the peaceful Sikh community, public safety must be absolute. The law must change. No one should carry a functional blade on our streets under the guise of tradition. It is time to mandate strictly symbolic, un-drawable, or miniature alternatives in public spaces. We must protect our youth and ensure no other family suffers this heartbreak. #JusticeForHenryNowak
American citizen Khalilur Rahman has become President of the United Nations. I think most people are unaware of his dark history.
During the 2001 caretaker government period, allegations surrounding Khalilur Rahman's extramarital relationship were linked to a tragic incident in which the Chief Adviser's protocol officer was shot by her husband, who later committed suicide. After that, Khalilur left Bangladesh and remained abroad for years.
Suddenly, after Yunus came to power, he returned as the interim government's security adviser and also became Tarique Rahman's Foreign minister. What a life he has had. A man who, according to his critics, should have faced criminal conviction and spent years in prison has now become President of the United Nations. What an irony.
Isn't this a case of moral bankruptcy by the @UN ?
@ZulkarnainSaer exposed Khalil a long time ago, and now he has become UN President. Why are you silent? You should speak out.
@SW_Help Might as well go back to horse carts at this rate. @UKLabour nationalising SWR has been an absolute joke, somehow made a terrible service even worse. It barely functions now !!
Dear fellow Bangladeshi Hamza Choudhury supporters, stop attacking Portsmouth’s social media pages right now. They’re looking at all this and thinking you’re all just jokers.
I’m a big supporter of Hamza too, but this online attack on Pompey’s social media is being massively over-exaggerated and is only hurting our image. Football culture in the UK is very different from Bangladesh. Banter and abuse when an opposition player is subbed off is unfortunately normal in English Championship football, specially at grounds like Fratton park it’s part of the atmosphere.
Hamza himself hasn’t come out and said it was racial abuse, and many Pompey fans are clear that the comments were just typical heated stick, not racism. Turning this into a social media war isn’t helping Hamza at all.

@Tashfeen_Hasan@Ekattor_71@jacksonhinkle lol. Awami League government went as far as building a full nuclear power plant with Russia, now we need permission just to buy Russian oil. Why do you have this mindset of surrendering yourself to the dominance of a third country?
Political settlement? The 1970 election gave Awami League a clear majority, Pakistan's rulers rejected it, arrested Bangabandh, and launched Operation Searchlight on March 25, 1971, a premeditated massacre of students, intellectuals, and civilians that killed tens to hundreds of thousands in the opening weeks alone, with systematic rape and targeting of Hindus.
That's not a political dispute it's genocide to crush Bengali self-determination after decades of economic exploitation and cultural suppression. Peaceful separation was never on offer when the response to democracy was artillery.
History isn't rewritten by wishful 'could haves' from the side that started the slaughter. Bangladesh chose freedom over subjugation. Deal with it.
I often think about what it would be like if I had been born earlier and was old enough to take part in our liberation war. So, with the help of AI, I imagined myself in a past I never experienced.
This photo was taken in Kolkata during Bangladesh’s Liberation War, captured by the renowned French photographer Marc Riboud.
The writings in the background clearly show who we sought freedom from and why.
It’s almost amusing to see those who are still enamored with the defeated forces. March 26 is a strong slap in the face for them, and a day of pride for us, because we can stand tall and say, we are independent.
Wishing everyone a Happy Independence Day. 🇧🇩
@Equinox590 You’re just insecure about facts that don’t fit your narrative. 1971 isn’t something you can dismiss just because it makes you uncomfortable. All this shows is how unwilling you are to engage with reality.
