Kanban, time tracking, client access for freelancers and small teams. Free in beta, invoices free until 30 Apr 2027. Per workspace, not per seat. #buildinpublic
Small trap: the Website field on X holds 100 characters and cuts the rest without a word. Our tagged profile link was 101, so every click arrived with utm_content=bio-lin.
Fixed by dropping utm_content, 80 characters now. Count a link before you paste it.

@xCB06fr Good one: the same wall-clock time at both ends, so anything that ignores the offset gets zero. Our Duration comes from stored minutes and reads 01:00 there. Our test runs 01:30 +02:00 to 02:30 +01:00 and expects 02:00; yours is the sharper edge.
Clocks go back in Europe this weekend, so 02:00-02:59 happens twice. Our work-log CSV now stamps each start and stop with its offset (02:30 +02:00, then 02:30 +01:00), adds UTC columns, and keeps Duration as real elapsed time.
Suggested by @xCB06fr, thanks.

@cooldaddpj Same month for scale: Google sent 4 clicks, all from people searching our name. Assistants sent none, and only two of their search bots read pages at all. Being read and being cited look like separate steps.
Our site's first month in the server log, AI edition:
GPTBot: never came.
OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot: 230 visits, robots.txt only.
Claude-SearchBot, PerplexityBot: one page crawl each.
125 "AI bot" hits: scanners after secrets.
Clicks from ChatGPT & co: 0.

@IndexDoctor_ Thanks for actually testing it. You're right, and the correction is in the thread: Cloudflare's managed robots.txt plus a 403 for training bots, while search bots get through. So "never came" really meant "turned away at the door".
Correction to the AI crawler numbers, via a reader's tip: GPTBot and ClaudeBot didn't skip us. Cloudflare's managed robots.txt disallows training crawlers and blocks them with a 403. Search bots (OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, Claude-SearchBot) get through.
Hours across client projects rarely vanish in one big mistake. They leak: a timer running through lunch, a 15-minute fix for another client never logged.
Our free setup: the timer on the task, not the day, plus a 5-minute log check every evening.

@PyLocket Fair point. Duration is the unambiguous column: elapsed time from UTC stamps. A full local date-time with offset on Started and Stopped is on our list, see the thread above.
Built solo, so a fair question: can I take my data with me?
Yes. Tasks and work logs export to CSV from their lists, work logs for any date range. UTF-8 with BOM, so Excel keeps Slovak accents and Cyrillic intact, and times are in your timezone.

@xCB06fr Agreed on keeping Duration separate: it's the one column that stays right whatever the clocks do. Full local date-time with offset, plus UTC columns for recalculation, goes on our list for the work-log export. Thanks for the careful test cases.
@xCB06fr Half of it holds: Duration is elapsed time from UTC stamps, so 01:30 to 02:30 second pass exports as 02:00. The stamps don't: local HH:MM, no offset. What would you rather check billable time against, an offset on each stamp or extra UTC columns?

Invoicing is a Pro feature: PDF invoices with per-line VAT, in English or Slovak.
Pro can't be bought yet, so rather than keep invoices locked, we made them free for everyone until 30 Apr 2027. A date, not "forever". Issued invoices stay yours after it.

@iamsuccessobasi Good luck with the first Friday update. Curious which part ends up eating the most hours by page five: copy, revisions or waiting on the client.
Free for good in Tasklans: 10 users, 10 projects, 10 clients, unlimited tasks, time tracking, Kanban, real-time and a Client role that never shows your rates.
Pro will add unlimited projects and invoicing. Invoices are free for everyone until 30 Apr 2027.
