Quantum risk is easy to underestimate because the threat is not here yet.

The harder problem is that cryptographic migration takes years, while quantum progress does not wait for an industry to catch up.

That makes @QuipNetwork’s Season 4 more interesting than a typical points campaign.

Quip is building around two sides of the transition:

→ Post-quantum protection for assets already living on chains like Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana

→ A compute marketplace where classical and quantum operators can contribute infrastructure and earn for useful work

Season 4 turns that network-building into four measurable forms of participation:

• Secure value through a Quip account
• Trade or test QuipSwap
• Run a node and help validate quantum computation
• Bring new participants through referrals

The important part is the architecture behind the incentives.

Capital creates secured value.
Trading creates liquidity.
Nodes create infrastructure.
New users create network effects.

And the same ecosystem eventually needs QUIP for compute payments, asset movement and validator staking.

That is a much stronger incentive design than simply rewarding activity for activity’s sake.

The bigger question is whether post-quantum security becomes a feature users actively adopt before it becomes an emergency.

Quip is betting that the transition starts before the deadline forces it.
