@lmauricecpr After each and everyones ability to broadcast their behaviour to the world and BLM mandated bodycams on police - I am all the way over in the camp of "there was a very good reason for that".
@AI_EmeraldApple@Dexerto Considering 2000-3000 of them drown on the mediterranean each year - you would probably save more lives within a year too by shooting a number of migrant boats just to send the message.
Depending on how fast they get the message ofc.
@rirokpik They dont suffer from racism, they suffer from black parenting.
Teach your kid to be a victim and powerless in a system that works against them and they will be a victim and powerless no matter the circumstances.
Do you really think that is the only choice given to you?
Maybe you should care a bit less about Chinese culture so you can learn about the last 2026 years of Western culture instead of the last 10 thats been served to you by algorithms.
As someone who has grown up in the west tho, I do agree. Chinese culture and history is fascinating, but there is a very logical reason for why diasporas with a certain lvl of self reflection dont care too much about their roots.
The Vietnamese diaspora is a very good example. They left a country with no future, in brutal war with a ideology they didnt agree with. Now their kids who didnt experience any of it goes back to the very same country on holidays and questions why their parents left in the first place while being so hard and strict on them, changing names to suit the new place and having them carry the burden of being different.
They changed the way the register it. So you cant compare it at all. It is just filed in under overall rape instead.
What we DO know, is that Overgrepsmottaket in Oslo reports an increase of 70% in victims at their facility. Obviously this is because Norwegians have become alot better at reporting ofc, not because there is more assault rapes...

Iagon Insight will accept payments in $ADA, $USDM and native $USDC.
There are, however, important regulatory distinctions between the stablecoins currently available to the Cardano ecosystem.
$USDM has established an EEA issuance structure through NBX, which acts as its European issuer under MiCA. However, NBX issued and Moneta issued $USDM are legally separate obligations backed by separate reserves. Although technically fungible onchain, redemption depends on identifying the issuer of record.
$USDCx is a separate $USDC backed token issued on Cardano through Circle's xReserve infrastructure. It is not native $USDC issued by Circle Europe and does not appear to be covered by Circle's existing MiCA white paper. The main European issue is therefore the absence of a clearly demonstrated authorised EEA issuer and MiCA compliant issuance framework.
$USDCx can be described as a wrapper and therefore potentially a MiFID derivative or futures product.
The bigger opportunity would be establishing $USDCx as a properly issued and regulated stablecoin that European institutions can confidently use. That would effectively bring $USDC liquidity onto Cardano in a form capable of achieving much broader institutional market access. Because of this - we won't be accepting $USDCx
