The Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians is a sovereign tribe of Tataveaveat (Los Angeles County), with historical ties to Mission San Fernando.

Construction is underway on Hukatkin, 27 homes for tribal seniors by @tataviam in @CountyofLA @citysanfernando, backed by $12M from HCD’s first Tribal Homekey NOFA. Through Tribal Homekey, $68.3 million has been awarded to 9 tribes to create 167 permanent affordable rental homes.

This week, we launched 8 signs across LA County. These light-hearted Tribally-branded billboards are gentle reminders that the Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians still exists.
