I've said it before, Portugal need to organise a fake World Cup for Cristiano Ronaldo during the real thing so he believes he's playing against DR Congo when all the players are actors. Genuinely think he'd fall for it, not sure he knows who any of his teammates are anyway.

Realized United pundits and ex-pros just can't take Arsenal being the best team in England again.
The hate is embedded deeply into their hearts and it gives me incredible joy seeing them this deluded.
I remember when the likes of Stoke City, Blackburn and the likes used to bully us.
We used to be called soft and all manner of names.
Back then the media said beautiful football wins nothing.
We listened, we gave the media exactly what they want. All of a sudden winning trophies no longer matter, beautiful football matters more now.
The truth is, if it was another club, how they win won't matter, it matters now because they love to hate Arsenal. They see us as their prisoners for banters and hate it that we have escaped.
Emmanuel Petit on Premier League clubs mocking Arsenal after the final defeat:
🗣️ “I have to say, I found it embarrassing.
The second Arsenal lost, some Premier League clubs couldn't wait to jump on social media and remind everyone about their European trophies.
That tells you everything.
Instead of supporting an English club representing the league on the biggest stage in club football, they were busy celebrating Arsenal's pain.
For me, that's not rivalry. That's insecurity.
Arsenal were 90 minutes away from doing something special, and rather than show respect, people were desperately searching through the history books for old trophies to post online.
Why? Because they were terrified of seeing Arsenal join that club.
Let's be honest, some of these clubs spent the entire season watching Arsenal compete at a level they couldn't reach.
The jealousy was obvious.
The moment Arsenal fell short, they treated it like they had won something themselves.
That's the mentality of people who would rather see Arsenal fail than focus on their own success.
The trophy may have slipped away, but the reaction from some rivals showed exactly how much Arsenal still live rent-free in their heads.”
Not surprised that people are immediately trying to write revisionist history about the game today. That’s what idiots do
-Arsenal scored from open play. PSG could not
-PSG needed a penalty, conceded by Arsenal’s 3rd string RB, to score at all
-Outside of that penalty, PSG did not record a shot on target inside the box until the 117th minute
-PSG needed a penalty shootout to win the game
Casual fans will look at the possession and the shots, without understanding that Arsenal allowed PSG to have the ball and shoot it from non-threatening areas on purpose
At the end of the day, PSG deserved to win, because they stepped up when it mattered
But anybody suggesting that Arsenal didn’t play well, or didn’t execute their plan to perfection, is either lying to you for interactions, or they are genuinely incapable of analyzing the game that they just watched
It really is that simple, at the end of the day
If Arsenal had won today via a penalty shootout, without scoring a goal from open play, having been awarded a penalty in regulation time after PSG scored the only goal from open play, people would’ve called us anti-football haram-ball cheaters
But when PSG do it, they save footy
