Durin: "The Undying Fire"
A Dragon Born From "M"'s Pen
#GenshinImpact#Durin
In the past, when outsiders asked about "Durin's Story" in Mondstadt, most locals would recount a dire tragedy — how the wicked dragon Durin descended amidst a tide of monsters, battled Dvalin across the skies, brought untold calamity upon Mondstadt, and finally fell upon the snow mountain.
And yet, not long ago, when outsiders inquired about "Durin's Story" again, answers varied. Some continued to tell of the tragedy at the mountain, while others would mention a horned youth, and share amusing anecdotes of his embarrassing moments at the tavern and how he and Klee were scolded by Acting Grand Master Jean.
"Has a new version of Durin's story emerged?"
With such doubts in mind, some outsiders would find their way to Mondstadt's most renowned bard, hoping for an answer.
And that Bard would gently strum his strings while gazing towards the distant sky.
"No. Best consider it a wholly new story, a far brighter one."
this entire culture of ascribing political stances to people based on who they follow and then turning around to call them performative when they actually do unfollow is soo miserable

'TAMA NA, SOBRA NA, IKULONG NA'
Actor Elijah Canlas, alongside Akbayan Partylist, joins the "Trillion Peso March" on Sunday, delivering a passionate speech to welcome early attendees of the anti-corruption rally.
"Lahat tayo kumakayod [at] nagtatrabaho nang disente, halos magbuwis-buhay para makapagbayad lang ng buwis. Tapos lahat ng pinaghihirapan natin, anong nangyayari? Binubulsa lang!" Canlas declared.
He called out politicians, government officials, contractors, and even so-called "nepo babies" who, he said, plunder public funds and flaunt their lavish lifestyles while ordinary Filipinos continue to suffer from floods and lack of job opportunities.
"Tama na, sobra na, ikulong na! Lahat ng kasangkot dapat managot. Niloloko lang nila tayo, mga sinungaling sila. Ang gagaling pa umarte, mga best actor, 'di po ba? Ibalik niyo na lang kaya ang pera ng taong bayan, tama?" he added.
The actor also expressed joy at seeing many young people rallying side by side with adults who continue to fight despite the exhaustion of living under a system riddled with corruption.
