Indiana has turned the school voucher program into a $300 MILLION handout to private companies.
But somehow, we don’t have enough $ to give public school teachers raises, or provide universal pre-k, or give students free lunches.
Thanks @indystar for the report on vouchers
Bruce Springsteen’s “Born In The U.S.A.” has jumped to #9 on the U.S. iTunes Song Chart, the 40th consecutive year of people not listening to the lyrics.
I refuse to turn Indiana over to a Braun-Beckwith team.
They are dangerous, divisive and extreme.
I’ll fight like hell to win in November.

Indiana deserves better than a Braun-Beckwith ticket that attacks healthcare professionals, women, & IVF, threatens LGBT rights, & takes away the freedom to read what you want with draconian book bans.
This election we can protect Hoosiers’ freedoms by electing @mccormickforgov.
Jamey Noel’s shocking corruption stole millions from Hoosier taxpayers. He also used his influence to elect Republicans in Southern Indiana, giving over $100K to their campaigns.
It’s time for those campaigns to return that money, & to vote them out.

Swalwell: If you believe in states’ rights except when a jury in that state convicts your nominee for President, you might be in a cult.
“I demand that his words be taken down”
Swalwell: *keeps going*
#Metallica. “Creeping Death.” 1986. That Hetfield could play at this speed, for this duration, with all 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲𝘀, is incredible — how would anyone even explain that to a non-guitarist? Basically his right wrist was a genetic mutation!
Dear Teachers,
Our GOP lawmakers first belittled us by saying anyone can teach.
Now- no one w/ elem license can teach without 80 more hours of add’l training & another professional test.
If you’ve had enough, join me.
Let’s go- together.

A company looking for people with an eye for detail sought out employees with autism. The tech company saw a 90% reduction in errors and a 30% increase in productivity, CEO/founder Dave Friedman said in 2020. April is #AustimAwareness Month. https://t.co/o4QeduKokE
🎙️ Gregg Popovich on the special shoes he wore tonigh: "All of us [head coaches] did for the last couple games. Just trying to bring some awareness to autism. That month for us in the NBA, I didn’t realize it was that prolific. I guess one in every 37 children is diagnosed with autism. That's a lot more than I think I knew. But it’s a malady that I think is misunderstood in some ways. Like it’s a bad thing or that person is the ‘other.’ No, that person is just different and really deserves our attention, our support and a realization that they have other traits that make them special."
"Giving them love and the support is really important and hopefully people will understand that they need to be included. They can’t be put aside as ‘others.’ They need to be included and supported. That’s why we’re trying to bring attention to it."
