@hiddenntheheart the perfect image of HiMERU in order to make his fans happy so like It's a mix of both i think. he's doing some major projecting on kohaku through the entire story but he does think it was Wrong of himself to say all that stuff to kohaku and burden him with it

@hiddenntheheart YEAH that's definitely part of it too like He does ultimately settle on saying that he wants to show his fans a perfect image of HiMERU without any room for error but the issue khk had with it was that he was being passive about it instead of when he used to push himself to Be -

@hiddenntheheart it pretty much gets resolved in the chapter where rinne confronts him because he's like Yes i did have my doubts about everything i was saying so it's only natural people thought i was being weird

@hiddenntheheart a big part of ephemeral fes to me is that a lot of it is oremeru just.. Lying because he's very explicitly acting the way he thinks HiMERU would want to or Should act, but the whole time both kohaku and rinne think he's acting strange and not like himself
