Writers Ha Yoonah and Tae Kyungmin: Let's write lines that are intuitive yet provoke fluttering feelings. Dynamite Kiss Post drama interview.

"Truly, just as the words say, it was 'let's write intuitive and fluttering lines!' Words that are easy, concise and when you hear them, your body reacts before your head. I don't like long, difficult, smart-sounding talk. Sincerity isn't conveyed through those things. The feeling of love is hottest when it's that obvious and childish lump, even without embellishment."

When asked whether they had Jang Kiyong and Ahn Eunjin in mind from the very beginning of writing the script:

"When we were told Ahn Eunjin would come, we almost collapsed because we were so happy. It was because we knew the image we had seen in reality shows or other works. She really is Darim herself. But for Jang Kiyong, at first we honestly couldn't think of him well. We had no idea he had this kind of comedic sensibility."

But pdnim told us about his original personality(?) through his personal friendship with him. He said it would fit perfectly. Going 'oh really~?' and meeting him, we were shocked at how he was exactly Gong Jihyeok. After that, every time we met him, we called him Team Leader Gong~! 😂 It seems both of them created great synergy as the purity, cuteness, brightness and sexiness they each have matched perfectly with their roles."

"Since it’s a romcom, regardless of my personal fondness for each actor, the chemistry between the two was extremely important. The moment I saw the two sitting side by side at their first meeting together, I cheered in the heart, thinking 'this is it! 😂"

Writer Ha Yoonah memorable scene:
"Episode 6's ending. When Jihyeok sees a call coming from Darim’s husband and turns off her phone saying, 'I think I've gone crazy,' that voice, that temperature, that humidity watching that scene, I almost went crazy myself."

Writer Tae Kyungmin memorable scene:
"Every moment when Darim and Jihyeok kiss." (Aigu.. our fav too 🥹)

Dynamite Kiss is an original drama with no original source material. "with an original, it was nice to freely bring out our colors and write energetically as it stretched forward."

Both writers inspired for another romcom and wanted to top Dynamite Kiss!

"After writing a 'dopamine-bursting' romcom, we're thinking of writing another romcom that goes one step further, a 'dopamine bursting bursting bursting!' romcom. We’ll come back having grown and developed more." (i wish you luck writernims.. since there's no 2nd Kiyong and Eunjin lol)🫢
