The Tauber lab studies chronobiology, exploring how genes shape biological clocks, daily rhythms and seasonal responses, and their effects on brain and behavior
Trilled to present our work on a new codon usage bias mechanism of pairs of codons that form CpG sites and #DNAmethylation at Israeli Evolutionary Biology Society meeting https://t.co/rHSoUGAH40

@kwangwon_lee Under light entrainment, a given deviation of the circadian period from 24 hr leads to a specific phase of activity, which is probably the phenotype that is under selection. A 24 hr clock, has no preferred phase.
@SRBR_Outreach This is such a tragedy. Steve was such a kind and a friendly person, and a remarkable scientist. The last EBRS was a testimonial for that. His memory and scientific legacy will stay with us for ever.
After 30 years, so excited to work on crickets again, Paper is now published "Transcriptional Response of Circadian Clock Genes to an βArtificial Light at Nightβ Pulse in the Cricket Gryllus bimaculatus" https://t.co/qPDM21d0Dj #mdpiijms via @IJMS_MDPI
So excited that our paper is finally out. Demonstrating a role of #miRNA in #photoperiodism. Photoperiod-Dependent Expression of MicroRNA in Drosophila https://t.co/N2oDqZRzQi #mdpiijms via @IJMS_MDPI
Thrilled to share our new paper "Nucleotide Variation in Drosophila cryptochrome Is Linked to Circadian Clock Function: An Association Analysis". 10(!) figures are testimonial for the huge amount of work invested in this study. #university_of_Haifa https://t.co/P0ZU920qca
So excited about this new paper from our lab. Our first experience as a #Drosophila lab doing a #chronobiology research in human for the first time, showing a link between the gut microbiome and chronotype. https://t.co/izkJDb14RS
