In light of the reopening of diplomatic relations with my country, and with the intention of preventing Chavista communists from infiltrating the consulates, I respectfully ask you to consider and put forward my name before the Department of State for a position at the Venezuelan Consulate in Chicago.

I am a Venezuelan attorney with postgraduate studies in Public Administration and Political Communication. I speak English and was persecuted in Venezuela; I have been living in exile in Illinois since 2018 and currently work in public service in the State of Illinois.

Like me, there are many other Venezuelans living in the United States—exiles, university-educated professionals, anti-Chavista and anti-communist—who would surely also be willing to help in this new stage toward the full restoration of Venezuela’s freedom and the institutional reconstruction of our country.
