It is mind-boggling to see self-proclaimed communists and pacifists defend substandard oil tankers, owned by dubious companies in Dubai, owned by multi-millionaires engaged in extortion of third-world laborers and crews, and often involved in the illegal arms trade. Ships without sufficient insurance that pose a danger to our coasts, fauna, and flora, and threaten the income of fishermen alike. When the bill for an oil spill cleanup has to be paid, it will need to be covered by our government (instead of that big bad company in Dubai), meaning the taxpayer (you and me) is footing the bill. You're not fighting for the common man, but you're a stooge for dictatorial regimes and shady multi-millionaires.

We try to avoid statements but there are limits.

After analyzing thousands of videos over more than four years, we feel we have earned the right to speak plainly: Russia is committing war crimes repeatedly and systematically and they are getting worse.

The longer the West fails to respond decisively, the more these crimes continue. This inaction also sends a dangerous signal to other authoritarian regimes, suggesting that international law can be violated with little consequence. As a result, the boundaries of international law are becoming increasingly weak and difficult to enforce.

The last few days have once again shown that the Russian regime is a terrorist regime that has little regard for humanitarian law:

After Ukraine agreed to a Russian 3-day ceasefire proposal, for the Russian commemoration of the end of World War II and its victory over Nazi Germany, Russia launched one of the most severe attacks on Kyiv since the beginning of the war, resulting in multiple civilian casualties.
This stands in stark contrast to Russia’s public rhetoric about peace and historical memory.

It is not enough that Russia is deliberately targeting civilians in Kherson, also known as the “human safari”, it has now also started attacking clearly marked UN vehicles, which would represent another serious violation of international law. Attempts to hide or destroy evidence only make these actions more alarming. And its not the first time they try to hide or manipulate evidence.

Western leaders, especially the Trump administration, should wake up instead of being so easily manipulated by the Russian regime.

В этом же году Россия напала на Молдову 🇲🇩, началась война на Днестре. Россияне оккупировали часть страны и контролируют ее до сих пор.

В этом же году началось вторжение в Грузию 🇬🇪, российские вооруженные банды на российской технике убивали грузинов и захватывали их земли.

В этом же году Россия отправила россиян, технику, припасы, оружие и топливо в Армению 🇦🇲 для захвата 13% территории Азербайджана 🇦🇿

В 1994 году Россия начала войну за контроль над регионом Чечня, убив по меньшей мере 50000 человек.

Это я вот о чем: даже если русские лишатся всех денег, даже если русские будут стоять с протянутой рукой, выпрашивая еду для своих голодных детей, даже если русские будут голодные, холодные, нищие, с виду жалкие и несчастные - они ВСЁ РАВНО найдут ресурсы, оружие, еду, припасы, технику, патроны, снаряды, добровольцев чтоб портить жизнь другим странам. Русская идея - ВСЕГДА и при любых обстоятельствах сначала делать плохо другим, а потом уже думать о себе.

Это очень и очень плохо.

Det här är inte spontan mobilisering. Människor vaknar inte en morgon och råkar ha tillgång till enorma flaggor, färdigtryckta banderoller och koordinerade budskap. Den typen av rekvisita kräver logistik, tryck, distribution och…instruktioner. Det här är inte civilt mod, det är statligt manus.

När människor placeras ut vid broar med identiska symboler är det inte för att de spontant valt att bli mänskliga sköldar. Det är för att någon har organiserat, kallat in och fördelat roller. Det ser ut som folklig mobilisering, men fungerar som scenografi.

Regimen vill visa upp ett enat folk redo att offra sig. I praktiken visar man något annat: ett system som inte litar på frivillighet, utan producerar lojalitet genom mobilisering uppifrån. Flaggan blir inte ett uttryck utan den blir ett verktyg. Ju större den är, desto tydligare blir det att det inte handlar om känsla, utan om kontroll.

Var inte riktigt den "thriller" jag förväntade mig! 😁
