A lot of ppl (women esp.) discover they struggle w/ ADHD by 18-25 bc that’s when all of the structure provided by school, extracurriculars, & even certain relationships goes away & you have to start creating structure on your own, which, for someone with ADHD, can feel impossible

At the beginning of the pandemic I went through some painful personal stuff and would often go out at night for long walks because no one was around and I couldn’t sleep anyway. One night I was walking

She did this in natural sunlight with water and many people in the comments didn’t catch on until the third drink. Now replace this with a colored drink in a dark, crowded, club after a few drinks...this is scary
