This interview by the infamous criminal and Islamophobe, Tommy Robinson, and the Imam from Leicester was utterly disastrous.
This Imam did a horrible job by completely ignoring all the atrocities of the Zionist state: 7 decades of brutal occupation, two years of genocide, and an apartheid regime. Ironically, within that same interview, he was not allowed to enter Masjid Aqsa.

Not only didn’t he mention any of this, but he also took a selfie with an enemy of Islam who constantly insults Allah and His messenger ﷺ.

Worse, whilst demonstrating that he is all about “peace” and doesn’t have an issue with the Israeli state, he shamelessly suggested that Tommy’s views of Islam are because he grew up with “Pakistani/Kashmiri” people, and since he is an Indian Muslim living in Leicester, they are not like that. This is blatant racism.

If this Imam doesn’t have the intellectual and moral courage to challenge such a Khabeeth, then he should have ignored such an interview and kept silent instead of making an embarrassment of himself and throwing the rest of the Muslim community under the bus.

The only discussion with Tommy should be a public debate to expose his hatred and agenda for the Zionist state, and not a pleasant conversation with a selfie to make it worse.

May Allah save the Umma from such Imams. Amin.
