According to Meghan Markle, the Royal Family was so unbelievably awful that she’s still crying about it years later.

Yet when you actually look at the timeline, she was a working royal for roughly 18 months. That period included a multi million pound wedding, a lavish honeymoon, maternity leave, overseas tours and official engagements. It’s not as though she spent years trapped in a room with members of the family.

Most interactions would have been brief, professional and tied to work or family gatherings. Yet somehow we’re expected to believe this was such a traumatic experience that it justified publicly trashing an entire family and leaving accusations of racism hanging over them for years.

The more plausible explanation is that Meghan entered an institution where she wasn’t the centre of the universe. She couldn’t boss everyone around, couldn’t bulldoze centuries of protocol and couldn’t demand that every person in the room cater to her wishes.

And that, apparently, became oppression.

What amazes me is that, for some, the story is still treated as beyond question when the timeline and facts are publicly available for everyone to examine.

The more details that emerge, the harder it becomes to reconcile Meghan’s version of events with the publicly documented timeline.

The victim narrative becomes a lot harder to sell when viewed alongside the privileges and opportunities she received.

i’m starting to think Taylor has a pattern of trying to reverse “cancellation” by accusing a man of something to shift the blame.

like I’ve always thought it was shady for her to have said he wants to “silence�� her with a non-disparagement clause after she had blasted him everywhere. If anything blame Scott and blast him, like - HE was the one who sold her masters and betrayed her. how did Scooter become the focus? it genuinely seems like she engineered a smear campaign to stop him from buying her masters

while that may be incorrect (the implants etc), we do not have to pretend she has had no cosmetic work in order to combat that narrative. fighting misinformation with more lies is pointless. if we want to fight toxic beauty standards for women, as well as fighting ageism, we need to be honest and open about what natural aging looks like and what it doesn’t.

she looks amazing, and women should be free to have any interventions they want to make themselves feel beautiful. there is no shame in getting work done. we just don’t have to do everyday women a disservice by pretending that it’s normal to not age.

because everyone ages, and if your face doesn’t change from the age of 20-35 then you’re intervening in the aging process. like it’s quite obvious, you answered your own question

good cosmetic work is meant to keep you looking the same. pretending celebrities don’t age makes everyday women think this is normal, and it’s simply not. if she’d had no work done, she would indeed look different at 36 compared to 24.

she had had no volume loss in the midface, no downward shifting of her fat pads, no meaningful development of static lines in the upper face, and no mouth shadows. her lips have gotten fuller with age.

she has no significant age-related changes one would expect in a 37 year old woman. explain to me what you see in these two photos that makes her look “older”?

that judge also believed she had already donated her entire divorce settlement to charity - we now know that despite having her full divorce settlement months before she even wrote the op-ed, she had missed so many payments that the Children’s hospital had to email her asking if she was still planning on donating the money.

it’s genuinely not hard to understand that more evidence was presented in Virginia than in the UK, because Amber was not a defendant in that case. The Sun had to prove that they believed Amber, not that Amber was being honest, which are two very different things. The author of the article in which he was called a wife-beater has since come out and apologised to Johnny.

Your misunderstanding of the legal nuances in these two cases is not a “gotcha”, and just proves you can’t contend with the facts shown in the Virginia trial so you have to default to a judgement made in a different country with a different standard of evidence that was against a different plaintiff.

I think she settled because she didn’t want to put herself on the stand if it was only to punish Wayfarer and IEWU movie, because she wants to punish Justin personally and specifically, not necessarily the companies. IMO this is why the “true heart” of the case keeps shifting - because the actual true heart of the case is whatever will damage Justin the most.

that’s why they pivoted to 47.1, and why it was pointed out in her lawyers statements that he has “personal liability” regarding this. she doesn’t want to fight for women, she just wants to get revenge.
