fantasy art can truly be said to be never-ending. just ask the people who asked me to do some for them.

@Bad_Toad_Games @ChubbyFunsterGC @nkvlands @KennethProven one of the best valleys to stroll around!

how would a fantasy frog look like? or how to make the normal more interesting, in a way. So here's an attempt. From @nkvlands 's Korveth Marshes upcoming campaign

i once had the habit of not caring if i sketched something on a lined piece of paper. also had the habit of wanting dragons to be unique creatures instead of entire sub-races. still have that second habit. Shadow of the Colossus influence here, because of course!

Rats have always had a special place in fantasy, first row, in each and every variation that could -and will- be thought up.. big rats, small rats, men-rats, undead rats, smelly rats, hairy rats, bloody rats, snappin' rats.. come on in rat lovers!!

[George S @Tayghettan]

@nkvlands well it all depends on the encounter dice roll, so it's all luck there; it's just that luck can come in many flavors, good or bad, and one of those flavors happens to be "player character" 😅

i remember my father once telling me that 50% of each artwork is a solid setup, the foundation of lines and poses and whatever, the strong basic composition. which was a lie. its more like 80% or 90% i think. so i'm never finishing this one, fell out of love with it i think.

@Bad_Toad_Games hey man, greatly appreciated! glad you like it!

Black Root Child, or "Cthonians are all meaty and disgusting and wonderful, but what if they were made of.. roots?"

[George S @Tayghettan]

"..they travel uneasily through these lands, ever-watchful for those of their companions who turn to stare away with glazed eyes, captured by the unheard poisonous songs of these whore-birds of Kharkyd.. its not death that they fear the most, but what comes before death.."

[George S @Tayghettan]

"The very Massaga gathered nightly in the near worlds, attracted by the sick light of towering candles of man-fat, their hunger denied by the arrogant ones in their power. Few remains from those days... Massive graves of petrified gnawed bone and echoes of teeth..."

@nkvlands hey, and first post is so fresh its already rotten!!
