The Placerville cushion has flipped a Pit Cart

Ran Placerville last Saturday. Made the show but didn’t get the finish we wanted. Got caught up in a flip after two cars tangled in front of me. Car’s banged up and I’m feeling it too, so taking the weekend off to reset. Back at it for points on the 21st.

Last night was all about learning. 45 cars checked in and while I’m always chasing results, the focus right now is on progress. This was my 7th sprint car race, and we brought the car home clean that alone is a win. Back at it next weekend for a points night at Placerville!

The May 25th show honors the late Mel & Marlyn Hall and is the 25th anniversary of the event.

4th time out in the sprint car this weekend! Got to share the track with my great uncle Jimmy Sills who was running in legends night! Pretty special to be on the same dirt as a National Sprint Car Hall of Famer and 3-time USAC Silver Crown champ. Racing runs in the family!
